There are two reviews of this game that caught me off guard that infamous Xbox EGM review that gave it a 7 because the game used the “Same Halo Formula and didn’t have Iron Sights” and that review that gave it a 2/10 on Metacritic. Let me ask you guys do you think the scores for this game on Metacritic are accurate.
Personally I wouldn’t have mind if this guy gave the game a 7/10 for valid reasons but he says the Multiplayer is stronger than the Campaign. Which I sadly disagree with, this game has had the most complaints of Multiplayer since Halo 2. To top it off this game is probably the farthest from the original formula with the introduction of perks, armor abilities, and ordnance drops.

Sounds like the rater was a cough COD Player cough or Battlefield player.
I’d give it a 5/10. For being so generic and by the numbers. That’s also without counting the lack of a local only search option, which would put that number lower.
That doesn’t mean it’s bad, but, just so average. You can enjoy it if you’ve never played Halo before, but if you have then it’s just the same thing.

To be honest I give this game a 7 after launch also because after playing for so long you begin to see how many things just don’t work with the new direction Halo is going and several things need balance like the community says. But his reasoning for giving the game a 7 was just null.
I give halo 4 a 8/10
