Very interesting Campagin find![spoilersX7]

Do not read if you don’t want to be spoiled. Do not expect spoiler tags in this thread. You have been warned so no whining.

I wanted to title the thread " A Massive halo 4 find" but i wasn’t sure if that would be over hyping or not, anyways.

If you search the Amazon preview of “The Thursday war” you will find many references to the Didact later on and this is what i found.

> The Didact. he was interested in him.i told him he was in requiem

> Its called requiem. but i dont know where it is.nobody does. why? Because the Didact went there, and for some reason the gods want it to be kept hidden…

> Requiem. jul had never heard of it… which was the symbol for it?

> …and there was the symbol for requiem

> The Didact Sleeps and must never be woken.kelekos could be reached…

> Where is this place? I was told it was called Kelekos but that was the forerunners scared name for it.

> what is this symbol? Kelekos.

We know that this “Kelekos” is a location that isn’t Onyx nor requiem from the sections you will see when you look it up. This place seems to be very important in relation to the didact since (i am assuming) it was forerunner scripture that said he should never be woken up. Did the Didact Finally lose his mind to rage and the forerunners had to lock him up? Could “Kelekos” be an actual name for a location we already know? Is it that fragmented world we saw with a halo ring over it?

Enmity-Deep-seated, often mutual hatred.
[un]slaked- unsatisfied Craving,thirst

The Didact’s Hatred for humanity tipped it’s cup and had been sealed away never to be awaken. I suspect this might have been the librarians doing or at the least She would want to be found before her husband was awoken. So i suspect the Didact will be an issue until we or chakas go to this “Kelekos” to get the librarian to calm him down.

Not really major spoilers, i’ve come to expect this.
it says kelekos will be reached, maybe kelekos is a rage level? not a place? if he is awoken maybe he’ll get to kelekos, maybe it’s their word for rampancy or something

Kelekos is a location, you will know that if you search it on the preview.

You have to be kidding me if you don’t find this interesting whatsoever seeing as i never find anything interesting and this got me.

I’m not saying it’s not interesting, i’m just saying i expected something like this to happen

I have a strong feeling that the -Yoink- gonna hit the fan when it comes to the Didact.

It may not be Onyx or Requiem, but could it be a place on Requiem?

Other Forerunners were brought up in the novel that we haven’t heard about such has the Logician and Esthetist. Maybe Kelekos was a planet of exile for the other forerunners?

> Other Forerunners were brought up in the novel that we haven’t heard about such has the Logician and Esthetist. Maybe Kelekos was a planet of exile for the other forerunners?

Maybe Kelekos is requiem? i mean just because the humans call it Requiem doesn’t mean the forerunners do, they called Earth, erde-tyrenne, for example (I probably misspelt that)

> It may not be Onyx or Requiem, but could it be a place on Requiem?

I guess but that doesn’t fit in with the context it was written in not to mention i don’t think they actually treat requiem like an actual planet (divided up and named regions). If somebody else brings this up i’ll just edit the OP with the rest of the quotes since it seems people aren’t looking them up.

May you please just search it up? Gosh,it was made that clearit is not requiem.

You really don’t like me do you.

Where was it made clear? i have read most of the preview and googled it, nowhere said it couldn’t be requiem

ONI also seems to know about it.

also deva how did you find the word kelekos ? it’s only mentioned on pages your not allowed to see.

Region? Remember, Kelekos may not be a region, but it may still be a place on Requiem. The Control Room or Cartographer are not regions, but places. Kelekos may be the same.

Then again, Kelekos may be something immaterial. Like a state of tranquility or something.

Parangosky also get’s the info from PRONE ( same as Jul )so that means she went to Onyx - Trevelyan.

he tells her that he doesn’t know where it is. and ONI know’s about Requiem.

2 places

I edited the OP.

Whoops, sorry. Guess it can’t be a place on Requiem then (I couldn’t access these pages because I’m not an Amazon member). I’m out of ideas on where Kelekos could be then.

Unless…

Another Shield World?

Another Halo?!

Another Ark?!?!

why were you contesting me then if you couldn’t even see it? shield world seems more likely since Halos and Arks don’t have names. But this seems different from other shield worlds since it has a name like Requiem and it isn’t just designated.

  1. Because I had no idea what you were talking about and didn’t know what exactly was on the pages I couldn’t see, so I didn’t know I was contesting you.

  2. Correction: Halos and Arks don’t have names in the human/ Forerunner tongues. The Covenant name for it is a different matter entirely.

Daaaamn can’t wait to get the book! Dont think I’ve ever said that before
