Very happy with H5 weapon selection

Hi everyone,
I felt this topic needed some love.
Thing I like most about H5: Weapons and Maps.
I absolutely love them bringing the SMG back. Hydra is like a Tracking Grenade Launcher.
2 Kinds of RLs. Awesome. Prophet’s Bane seems good. Absolutely love Truth and Orion. A remake of Midship and a nice map which is suited towards my playstyle.

Completely agree! However, I would like to see more than just the BR and DMR as a primary UNSC rifle. I want to see something between a mix of the two. Or like a marksmans rifle like the sniper but without the scope. I want the selection like in Halo: Reach.

As long as they remove the Boltshot, it will be better than 4.

We probably haven’t seen a third of what the whole weapon sandbox contains. That goes for maps too, and we’ve seen nothing of the vehicular gameplay. I’m excited, to say the least.

Definitely happy that the smg is back. Love the way it looks.

The Boltshot wasn’t the problem, loadouts were.

I don’t mind if thet keep it but as long as they drop its range by a lot and maybe slow down the charge more as well

I just hope the plasma pistol isn’t complete -Yoink- again, halo 1 it was okay (15-ish to kill) but I never really got to use it because of the magnum spam, halo 2 it was at its worst (26 to kill), couldn’t kill and couldn’t emp vehicles, halo 3 it got a little better (still 26 to kill) but only because it could emp vehicles, halo reach was its best because it could happily kill (only needed 10) and emp vehicles, halo 4 though it got a little useless again overheating in the same number of shots it needed to kill-12-and only having 50 shots compared to the 100 from reach and 400-500 in previous games.

I want the PP to be lethal, if that was the covenants most common weapon why isn’t it useful, yeah it can bust shields but their enemy rarely had shields, make it like Reach’s

Lightrifle, bruh.

We’ve only seen a fraction of the sandbox and all but the Prophet’s Bane, light rifle, plasmas, and sword have been UNSC but I will agree that what we have so far is amazing.

Halo Online has weapons similar to what you’re describing, but they are variations of the DMR and BR. Each primarily weapon has a unique attachment or setup that tweaks its performance slightly, making it optimal for different situations. I would like to see something like this if there is truly a “social” playlist completely separate from the competitive one.
