This is a little trick I’ve learned for this boss that I haven’t seen anyone else using. Spawn a ghost, stay inside the home base, and fire at will with zero resistance. Because of how far back and protected you are he will just sit there and take it leading to a very very easy boss kill. Demonstration below on how to do this.

Or you can harass him with emp’s until he gets out then splatter him.

True, but then you have to deal with the banshees and all his cohorts shooting at you too.
A two-man team on a Rockethog can make short work of his allies given how slow the ai’s can be.
I may have to try this sometime and see how it goes.
You can splaser him once or twice in the little circle motor on the back, that’s like 10 seconds to kill
I have done this since they added him to FF, except that I do it with a gungoose.

Yeah, but as OP mentioned as you have to deal with banshee’s and other AI which may be difficult.

I do this all the time.
I do this alot, I spawn in a Sword Hog or a Oni Hog & just spray him with bullets

I prefer using the whiplash or arclight whilst perched on the armory. It does the job much better than an ultra ghost, and makes it easier to actually get credit for the kill.
You have some decent cover for the banshees there if they ever do target you, but the chances of that happening are pretty low.
With this method, I won’t deny that it’s slightly more safer, but there’s still that huge risk of getting your kill stolen.

This is very true. I do this all the time. Sometimes I am already in position before he shows up. Once he notices you, he’ll look at you but not fire a shot.

Oh my bad, I thought you were talking about regular wz. My comment applies to that, when taskmaster Rok spawns between red core and blue armory
