It has storm pillars like the map in reach so it could just be like them causing the storm to look like that.

True but for what purpose maybe another portal like the storm in h3?

It’s not Earth.

Just realized that my bad any ideas on where this is?

The pillars are human right? Hm… Not sure… The rocks seem like exile.

It takes place on a planet called Tursira (I think that’s how it was spelt, source: the Stream)

I suspect that they made the map for red vs blue since the mountains are like exile and stuff and burnie and gus was on the panel

I’d assume the pillars are for climate control.

They probably regulate and/or manage storms, weather patterns, etc.

But I bet if you fly too close to it you would get a nasty shock.

Reminds me of Tempest, maybe it will be a remake.

Well, I guess this confirms Humans have decent weather manipulation tech.

It could be a terraforming machine, the thunder produces CO2 which could help produce a greenhouse effect for warmer climate and make a fuel source for plants, which in turn produce oxygen. It’d be a complete CO2 to O2 cycle!

It’d also produce ozone, controlling UV radiation

This was my thought as well. Otherwise I cant imagine what the point of it would be.

It might be a part of a terraforming machine. Humanity is recolonizing after all.

And Humanity does have pretty good terraforming technology. They terraformed Mars, Reach and many other planets in amazingly short amounts of time.

It was stated in the live steam that they’re large conductors which are being used to measure the large electrical storms that are constantly ravaging that area.
