Version Mismatch

A friend and I are attempting to play custom games but cannot join each other due to the game saying “please ensure all players in the party have the same version of the game” despite but 5 minutes prior, we were playing Firefight with no issue. We have also checked multiple times that we are running the same version (IE anti cheat on)

Friend and I are having the same issue :frowning:

An patch update has just released, so ensure that you and your friends have installed this to be on the same software version.
I was unable to contact the servers until I checked for an update and then proceeded to install it, if this doesn’t fix the issue, I’m unsure of how to help from there.

Ye me and my friend are having this issue

Yup Same Issue here, was fine the day before yesterday and today bam. Looking more and more like the original release now.

still having the same issue, has anyone of you fixed it? - PC MCC

This is how to make it work.

  1. Go to your Windows Store
  2. Sign out.
  3. Sign in.
  4. In search bar top right type Halo and select Halo Reach
  5. You will enter the Halo Reach site of Windows store and it will read UPDATE in the area where you usually click Install.
  6. Small update my a… , 1.2 GB update.

Can confirm works! Issue was on my end!

I’m having the same issue with my friend and I not being a being able to join each other, it’s not showing him that there’s an update for MCC. We also haven’t been able to fix it.

Edit: His console showed there was an update after restarting it and trying to load into MCC. It automatically told him there was an update and everything’s good now.
