I’m done.
To be fair to 343/Microsoft, there was a ton of media and news that stated 8gb will be needed to install the mp
At my local computer store I can get an 8gb flash drive for $5.99… You don’t have to break the bank just to play. If all else fails go around collecting returnables for the money =P
I’m fairly sure that won’t work on an xbox.
Should have done your research and saved some cash well in advance.
Sorry but that’s the way the world works.
Flash drives work… ya just plug em in and designate how much you want to use.
> I’m fairly sure that won’t work on an xbox.
How would that not work? Just plug it in to the USB and it acts as another storage device…
go to walmart and buy one of the pny usb sticks. get the 16 gb cause 8 wont be enough. its 15 dollars.
Even a 60gb hard drive for the elite is under $40, and if you’re smart about it you can get a 250gb or higher for around $50-60 for the slim. You could even use a USB instead of an HDD. A decent 16gb stick is easy to find for under $20.
Paying $60+ for Halo 4 and having a couple hundred for the system, controller, and games probably means you could’ve saved a good $40 or more here and there by shopping smart.
Also both 343 and Microsoft have been stating that the 8gb install is necessary for several months now. Seriously, you have absolutely no good excuse.

I have a 4GB xbox, all I did was go to war games and select download from xbl, and there you have it.
My father bought me an old used arcade Xbox when I was around 8 years old. I’ve had it ever since. It came with a 13GB hard drive. Now I have to buy stuff myself and I’m angry that I haven’t heard about this. Because if I had, I would have saved some money in advance. But I didn’t. I’ve cooled off a little now, however. Thanks for replying guys. And to whoever says “I have no good excuse”, I’m not the kind of guy that checks his computer everyday for news on Halo 4. That’s kinda weird.
