What vehicles do you all want to see in Halo infinite what olld vehicles should return.what are your all’s ideas for new vehicles and we should have a campaign unlock the indestructible Halo CE warthog
I personally would like to see the Revenant, Wraith, Ghost, Warthog, Scorpion, Kodiak, mongoose, gungoose (the H2A one, not the weird one from H5), hornet, banshee, wasp, drivable pelican, drivable Phantom, and, just for the heck of it, the SCARAB. If the Banished will be in it, it’d like the Banished variants as well. The Reaver, Wraith Invader…maybe the Locust and brute chopper/prowler. And, yes, an unlockable CE hog. Also, a forerunner tank, a forerunner Hog, maybe a forerunner ghost? That’s what I’d like to see.
I hope there is only as many vehicles as their needs to be. I know everyone has their favorites, but realistically speaking there are only so many vehicles that can hope to make the cut and I would hope we have a diverse vehicle sandbox before we have a large sandbox filled with reskins.
All vehicles should follow the Halo 3 vehicle system, no more chip damage.
With that in mind my list for returning vehicles would limit it to Mongoose, Warthog, Mantis, Falcon, Grizzly(campaign, customs only) for the UNSC and Ghost, Revenant, Wraith, Banshee, Chopper for the Covenant in terms of playable vehicles.
Otherwise the Phaeton should return with a redesign so it isn’t just a Forerunner Banshee along one new Forerunner ground vehicle(preferably not just a Forerunner Scorpion or Warthog or something else along those line.) Aside from what I listed I would much rather see brand new vehicles with brand new roles rather than bring back more old vehicles for fanservice. Anything else should return via DLC.
I also really like the idea of having something like a Skull that unlocks CE style warthog splatters and indestructibility seems like it would be fun for a laugh in campaign or customs.
I may or may not be in the minority here, but I think Halo 5’s vehicles are the best of the entire series as far as mechanics and weapons are concerned. The only blemish (and it’s really not terrible) in my mind are the somewhat awkward controls for the Scorpion. You sometimes end up rotating the entire dang thing instead of making a simple turn which can be quite hazardous in a sticky situation. Each vehicle in H5 is unique and they all feel great to use. The Mantis and Wasp might be two of the best additions to Halo’s vehicle list and their variants are even more fun to use.
So, I hope to see something similar make a return in Infinite. The only changes I would like to see are a return to the older designs for the Scorpion and Wraith. They don’t look bad in H5 by any means, but the older designs fit Halo much better. The rest of the designs for player-controlled vehicles are stunning.
