I don’t know what you guys think about it, but in my opinion the vehicle splatter way too easy.
A week a ago I was approaching a STANDING scorpion… i was close enough to board the dammn thing but he TURNED ON POINT and splattered me. Same things go with wraith and warthog.
The ghost… well ok it is easy to evade, but if the ghost is hovering on point he doesn’t even have to boost to splatter you… its like as soon as he is moving a liiiittle bit it splatters you.
Is it just me, or was it harder to splatter in other Halos?
What are your thoughts?
I know there are more issues about vehicles (like hopping in the turrent of an enemy tank has more priority than placing a grenade and stuff like that) but lets just talk about this splatter thing
Ya i’ve noticed it to. walked up to a ghost slowly backing up and was splattered right as it touched me going maybe 5 mph.
I think the ease of splatters is a good balance against how easy some vehicles are to disable and destroy.
its because of balancing reason since you have thrusters to help you dodge

I agree with this
It takes almost no movement at all to splatter teammates, but it’s impossible to splatter enemies.
IDK but that is not true for me at all!!!
And other friends i play with have the same feeling about this. Splattering with a ghost is really hard. Maybe it has something to do, with the location you are playing at and the connection to servers. But playing here in germany it is kind of hard to splatter. It feels like driving into a rock instead of cutting through an enemy spartan. Down below a link where i successfully splatter someone, but you can see what happens to me if i splatter someone. Often i dont even kill that guy but i get slammed away and he is only no-shield.

Both of these are very valid and sensible points. It’s for balancing purposes.
Its weird.
Sometimes my ghost seems to need a hit at full speed on the center to score a kill.
Other times…well. Last night I jumped onto the turret of a stationary enemy scorpion. Before I could press the hijack button he started to slowly reverse and I got instantly splattered. I get going under the tracks if its moving at full steam but not if I am standing on the tank…
I HATE it when I ram a Spartan at full speed and it doesn’t hurt them, but a tiny shove from another player’s vehicle is an instant death for ME. The splatter hit box has got to be changed, or modified. If a tank turns a tiny bit, you shouldn’t be harmed. I get when a wraith or ghost rams you, or a warthog or mongoose ploughs you, but a tank (with Halo 5’s incredible slowness, at that) is just ridiculous. Course, this is just my opinion, other people can discredit it if they want.
DUDE do you know how easy it is to be hijacked? I literally never use ground vehicles anymore
*The moment your realize you never get a splatter, nor be splattered half the time, as people just spam Ultra Ghost shots or Oni 'Hog shots at you, and you just are a drover that does guerrilla runs through the middle of the maps to evade all the shots.

The hijacking I can live with, its the fact that your tank or worse plane gets instantly shredded by SMG and BR fire. Plus I think ore weapons have an EMP effect now.
This is a little mean in Warzone where there are
A. A lot more people shooting at you
B. A lot more power weapons in play.
Some things that should be awesome, like the Phaeton and Mantis are just mediocre in this environment. It’d be fine if those vehicles required less req points, as opposed to the Wraith/Scorpian which are way too low. Tanks should not enter the game that early, especially since Scorpian beats Mantis in every regard.
I agree and disagree.
Splattering allies is SO MUCH EASIER than splattering enemies, and no one knows why. I have been splattered by tanks moving away from me because I boosted trying to catch them from behind to board; others have posted similar experiences. This in particular is idiotic.
I can’t jump over a boosting ghost. I get splattered anyway. People jump over me all the time. I’m at the apex of my jump when the vehicle is beneath me, boosting the opposite direction, and get splattered.
To some, this would say “splattering is working fine for others, so you must suck” but this is something that way too many people have a problem with for it to be just me. It almost seems random. Is there a d20 roll going on behind the screen, I mean, WTF?
I find it more inconsistent. I sometimes get railed by a ghost and I’m just fine. But sometimes I’ll be going to board a wraith and I’ll be walking up to his front and he’ll shift slightly the side and, boom, splattered.
Are you sure you’re walking to these vehicles? I’m not saying it’s done right, but they probably account for people sprinting into a metal object that is also coming their direction. Doesn’t have to be coming fast to hurt when sprinting Spartan speeds.
Since most of us probably sprint toward a vehicle we’d like to board, this is probably the case more often than not. Try just walking/running and see if you’re splattered as easy.

In some cases, you are having to chase said vehicles. If a tank is moving away from you, it should not splatter you, even if you boost into it.

Damn straight! I ran after a scorpion but just ended up bouncing off it like freaking hand ball
