Vehicles Spawn Way Too Quickly in BTB

Now yes your point is valid. My issue is that it’s easy to run out of stuff to blow them up with and then you’re stuck with basically useless weapons to fight them with while they get a bunch of free kills uncontested.

Maybe the solution is to have MORE anti vehicle weapons then if that sounds better to you.

If you’re suggesting the spartan laser, then I think that’s something we can agree on.

That’s a good suggestion, as long as it’s like a centrally located thing to fight for and control. The Skewer is trash, I hate that thing. It’s not a good alternative to the laser and is only really useful against wasps and banshees.

I’m thinking more hydras, heatwaves, ravagers, and sentinel beams really. They’re strong without being free kills and give both the vehicle and person using them a fair shot at a real fight.

It’s crazy satisfying to blow a wasp out of the sky with a ravager.

They could also bring back the brute shot for ultimate gameplay quality

Naturally.

I think it’s fine if you want to give vehicles a little more freedom. The Laser was removed for this very reason I think. And the Skewer’s design and sound are really cool, but yeah, it’s no laser and needs to stop being treated like one.

Only one I don’t agree on is the Hydra. Once that thing’s locked on, it’s over. Yeah it takes a few shots, but usually your hog is trashed by then.

Honestly I don’t even use the lock on. It kills almost twice as fast with the regular fire mode, if your aim is true

Ridiculous. The vehicles are made of paper in Halo Infinite. If you think more power weapons are needed to destroy vehicles, then you’re doing it wrong.

Halo Infinite is the worst Halo to use vehicles because they are so weak. And you’re trying to say you need more to help you deal with them? Ridiculous.

For the most part, vehicles don’t bother me. At least directed at each vehicle individually.

The only problem I have is that I wish there were more or better ways to deal with annoying wasps, and that vehicle distribution be more fairly towards both teams. Having multiple wasps camp spawns in BTB is just annoying, and there’s only one solid weapon to deal with them at spawn.

And nothing sucks more then getting a Warthog, while the other team gets a tank of some sorts or wasp. Warhogs are great, but a tank isn’t going to give me the opportunity to do anything productive when they get that instead of a Warthog too.

I think the crux of problem is vehicles are too weak to small arms, but too resilient to actually anti-vehicle weapons.

It creates this situation where everyone’s arguing about them being OP or UP becuse vehicles feel really durable but also are paper at the same time.

It depends on what I want really. The lock-on is good for long range and vehicles and enemies caught in the open. In those situations, hiding from the Hydra is pretty hard.

For CQC the dumb-fire is better. I don’t need to lead my shots as much and like you said, it kills faster.

But the dumb-fire is probably the more reward mode since it’s a bit harder to master (which makes sense).

Yeah, I agree. Also the first B in BTB is an overstatement. It’s not even quite big. Not the number of players, nor the maps.

I feel you on the small arms fire. I felt in older Halos you had to have a heavy weapon to deal with vehicles, otherwise you had try to hit the driver/gunner to kill them. In Infinite a few seconds of AR and pistol fire leaves me on fire with a missing wheel or something.

There needs to be a stronger disparity between the 2.

When It comes to vehicles I’m always in favor of more power, I wish for more grapple shots on breaker and deadlock. Also, anytime the skewer hits a vehicle -even if it isn’t destroyed- it should go flying, the way it looked in the trailers is what I really want, same goes for the gravity hammer. Personally I find the banshee to be like piloting a wet piece of toilet paper, I can’t aim for my life in the wasp and its rockets are too slow. The tank is awful to drive, the wraith is meh, and both take forever to aim shots. The only vehicle’s I enjoy in infinite are the ghost and the boss variant of the chopper.

All the vehicles have like a 1.1 second ttk and CE splatter physics. They’re devastating if you can aim properly

The Ghost is S tier in this game, it’s insane what some people can do with it. It’s about the only vehicle I think is fun to use in pretty much all the Halos because there is a definite skill element to it.

This is so obviously not true that I’m pretty sure you’re just trolling now… So have fun with that.

the splatters in Infinite are ridiculously generous, you can lightly walk into a vehicle and instantly die

Are you just that one guy’s alt being salty?
