Vehicles Should Not Be OP

Vehicles should not have an insane lifespan, I think they are great the way they are. The only thing I would call for is some sort of nerf to banshees. If they have a decent pilot they are nearly impossible to kill without locking on with rockets or something like that.

I see people complaining about how long their vehicles last. WHO CARES? I barely use vehicles in Halo, I barely ever have. A vehicle should be able to kill quickly and should be able to make some dents in a game, but it shouldn’t be so good that it is extremely hard to eliminate. People constantly want things to make the game easier, how about instead you get better on your feet.

P.S. If you are in a banshee, phaeton, tank, or wraith, be prepared for me to pull out a railgun or better yet an SPNKR EM on your coward self. I’m the guy who will go out of my way to destroy an enemy vehicle, except for perhaps a scout warthog or normal mongoose.

It honestly annoys me when the enemy team is smart like you and actually takes me down when I bust out a banshee. Yet my whole team ignores the banshee ultra raping us

If you’re shooting it with a Tier 1 weapon, then expect it not to do much damage to an armored vehicle

I just try to eliminate the threat as soon as possible. But yeah, I for one also don’t use vehicles often because I am not great with them, and I know how easy a smart person can take me out. However I have had games where I have pulled out several railguns but the enemy team had snipers and like a tank, banshee, and ghost, and so I kept getting killed before I could hit more than 1 railgun shot.

Oh, trust me I don’t unless I have kinetic bolts on my BR and don’t have a high req level yet. It really depends on each situation.

I think it is quite the opposite, I do not think tanks should be destroyed by small arms weapons so quickly. The vehicles literally feel like they are made out of paper. I feel safer on foot with my DMR than I do in a tank.

Did you read my post dude? I said they are fine the way they are… I think you need to hone your comprehension skills, I said the only one that needs some sort of nerf is the banshee. I along with you, feel safer on my feet.

They’re called a vehicle for a reason! They can get hijacked, lazered, spartans have evades and boosts they can just run around it. There is litellary more that 15 weapons that can take down vehicles and you say they should be nerfed?

Kinetic DMR’s rip through small vehicles like banshees and ghosts. The only vehicle which is really a tad OP (for its level at least) is the ghost and banshee ultra.

I think the lower tier Scorpions and Wraiths could use a small armor buff, but that’s really about it. Any Mantis that isn’t ONI or Hannibal could also use an armor buff.

you do know he is aloud to not agree with you, he read your post but disagreed with it. So how about you calm yourself

No, if anything most vehicles need a boost to their armor and defenses.

  • Scorpions and wraiths are too easily hijacked and the turrets do nothing to prevent that nor does trying to use the tank’s cannons when shot at a wall like in Halo 4 - Mantis can be boarded from the front and the stomp attack designed to prevent that does no damage - Warthog gunners are super exposed from all sides making for quick and easy headshots meanwhile the armor is not all that amazing against a god -Yoink!- assault rifle - Once the banshee’s shields are down that’s basically the end of it’s lifespan unless you can get into hiding quick enoughThe only vehicles that are actually useful are the ghost, phaeton, and gungoose! But even the ghosts and gungoose have some problems

  • Ghosts are fast and do lethal damage but suffer from somewhat weak armor. A slight buff is needed. - The gungoose is able to take out a scorpion, mantis, or wraith with ease but leaves it’s user vulnerable from all sides. It needs a slight nerf to the damage. Make it able to take out warthogs and ghosts with ease but make it hard to destroy the tanks and mantis. - I haven’t used a Phaeton in normal Warzone enough to find any issues but the thing is godsend in Firefight.

You wanna talk about OP vehicles, lets talk about BATTLEFIELD…
Least Halo lets you do damage to them with your primary weapon, so you don’t have to spend the entire game as an Engineer running between cover, shooting rockets at the damn thing until you realize he’s got two friends literally sitting behind him with welding torches fixing every speck of damage you do…

Vehicles op in Halo 5? Op?! BWAHAHAHA
Oh man you clearly haven’t played much BTB in the older Halos. They are paper in Halo 5.

So people who use vehicles are cowards? Noted.

A vehicle is only as good as its driver.

You guys completely misunderstood what the op is saying.

Thank you for realizing what I am saying, lol. I was so confused as to how no one really was comprehending it.

Vehicles are not OP. One man with a grenade can kill a Scorpion or Mantis.

Boarding vehicles and then slamming a grenade into the cockpit shouldn’t smash through the cockpit and blow it up when it’s at full health.

Again, you guys have zero reading comprehension.
He is directing this post to people who say that vehicles need a buff.
