I am not a fan of the current vehicle spawning progression system in BTB because I have seen under 5 heavy vehicles (wraith or scorpion) and only at the very end of the match.
My thought:
Both sides should start with a larger pool of vehicles spawns to begin with as with previous Halos. The chaos of these vehicles is a huge draw to Halo’s BTB. The pelican drops are cool as well - keep these (perhaps adjusted). We want more vehicles and more chaos, not less!

yeah, I’m pretty sure the reason the game is like this is to make doing certain challenges harder to do, otherwise it’s just an incredibly backwards decision. I play BTB because it feels like Battlefield lite, and I really like me some Battlefield. It just isn’t the same without the heavy vehicles spawning at the start of the game and respawning every so often.
It’s certainly related to them wanting to dictate how the matches flow and our interactions which has the side effect of influencing challenges. I don’t think it’s a malicious attempt to make things harder but a misguided attempt to create a unique experience for Halo 6 which unfortunately just ends up robbing of us one of the better uniquely Halo experiences - BTB Vehicle Chaos
You’re probably right, but either way they should have known it was misguided after the last flight when the consensus in the flight feedback thread was overwhelmingly against it. If they are so insistent on keeping it this way despite the negative feedback it’s been getting, then I just hope they will add BTB Heavies at some point so we can actually have a decent amount of vehicle action
I don’t think it’s a bad system to keep you from doing challenges, but 343i’s fear of unbalancing games too much with vehicles. I’d be in favour of a random spawn for all vehicles except at the start of the game.
