Vehicles need a little more health

Surely I can’t be the only person to notice the vehicles seem to explode at the slightest spray of bullets. I wish they wouldn’t blow up so easily with just AR fire from one or two people. That doesn’t mean make them indestructible, but just give the vehicle a weakness to target instead of making the whole thing take damage equally.

For example:
The chopper in Halo 3 had the “headbutting” advantage against a few vehicles like the warthog, but it was balanced by being slower, having less armor for the driver, and being difficult to maneuver.

There are so many other ways (both old and new) to make the vehicles powerful and relatively durable for whatever their use is. It’s just a little frustrating that in this game they all seem to take damage evenly regardless of which vehicle it is. And one thing in particular bothers me, but it might just be my opinion; why does the sniper rifle absolutely obliterate any vehicle it shoots at? If it hits armor on a car/aircraft it should not deal catastrophic damage. The big hits should be left for power weapons like rockets.

You’re not wrong. I miss in halo reach where you actually felt like vehicles had a dominating presence. In this one, you get the scorpion and you’ll be luck to survive a few moments. This would help if they were buffed and there were more vehicles to select from.

This is made worse when sometimes it will only spawn one decent vehicles 10 minutes into a match for the enemy team when you’re losing. Even then. It’s not hard to destroy said vehicle.

I really don’t like the fact that the vehicles are now more like GTA vehicles. They get damaged to a certain point, and instead of blinking with an alarm that you can hear telling you the vehicle’s health is low; you instead get a blaring alarm as your vehicle begins to glow and then catch fire and then explode.
