Surely I can’t be the only person to notice the vehicles seem to explode at the slightest spray of bullets. I wish they wouldn’t blow up so easily with just AR fire from one or two people. That doesn’t mean make them indestructible, but just give the vehicle a weakness to target instead of making the whole thing take damage equally.
For example:
The chopper in Halo 3 had the “headbutting” advantage against a few vehicles like the warthog, but it was balanced by being slower, having less armor for the driver, and being difficult to maneuver.
There are so many other ways (both old and new) to make the vehicles powerful and relatively durable for whatever their use is. It’s just a little frustrating that in this game they all seem to take damage evenly regardless of which vehicle it is. And one thing in particular bothers me, but it might just be my opinion; why does the sniper rifle absolutely obliterate any vehicle it shoots at? If it hits armor on a car/aircraft it should not deal catastrophic damage. The big hits should be left for power weapons like rockets.
