Vehicles need a buff

The warthog is way too weak in general. Needs to be able to take a few hits before getting absolutely wrecked. They were pretty much perfect in halo 3. Since then they’ve been way too weak in every game.

I think the wasp is fine… and the chopper. Rest of the vehicles need a bit of love tbh.

Wasp is fine, chopper could do with a tweak to the handling, make it drive more like the one in halo 3, also give it the ability to destroy other vehicles when ramming into them like halo 3. I think it’s still possible since I managed to ram into a ghost and destroy it once but with the way it drives it’s incredibly difficult to do. But the watthogs are so unbelievably weak. The gun is fine but it just can’t take much damage. Got taken out by 2 sniper shots earlier after getting in a fresh hog. The sniper should not be so powerful against vehicles unless they hit the weak spots like the wheels and such.

yeah, if I see a vehicule i dont botter, is better to go on foot. except for the scorpion, that thing is a tank, not like the H5

The only thing I would really change about the wraith is making the projectile appear bigger, again, halo 3’s wraith shot giant blue balls of death, the halo infinite wraith looks like it’s shooting the same projectile as the revenant in reach. Surely the banished wraith should appear more bombastic than the covenant counterpart.

Banshee could use the damage buff.

Banshee needs a massive buff. That thing is unbelievably weak. And it handles pretty poorly.

as long as it’s not like Reach or H5. Gives me vietnam flashbacks of kids spam rolling and using the bomb. Funny part? It locked onto people if you aimed it right when you flipped.

I even used the banshee this way. was dirty.

Mobility wise I think the Banshee is perfect, damage wise its like attacking a tank with a paintball gun.

Yeah it shouldn’t be as op as reach and h5 but definitely shouldn’t be as weak as it is right now.

The chopper (my favorite vehicle from H3) is so weird in Infinite. The ram does do damage, but it is damage over time, meaning if it gets caught on a vehicle and the wheels keeps spinning, the damage keeps going. The problem is that the chopper’s handling always makes it flip over, or roll over anything.

Honestly, everything except the wasp feels weak to me. Everything needs an armor buff.
What I would change:
Warthog: More damage, more weight to the vehicle
Mongoose: More weight to the vehicle.
(TBH I feel like there is something wrong with the physics in general which I think is causing most of the driving problems.)
Wasp: Increase the size of projectiles. Its like firing little needles. They do damage, but can’t do crap with them. (explosions also need to be revamped but again, cross-game issue)
Scorpion: Driving/handling. At least the one time I used it… During the BTB flight
Ghost: Armor buff. That’s all.
Chopper: I mentioned it before. More armor, handling fix, more damage on ram. Projectiles fire closer together at cost of range.
Wraith: I wouldn’t know. We’re going into month 3 and I’ve still never drove a wraith (not playing campaign until co-op is out)
Banshee: Flight overhaul. It needs to fly like a jet… not like a brick. I shouldn’t be able to drift an aircraft. Guns need a flat damage buff. Banshee bomb suffers from explosion problem too.

Yeah this game more than ever, they’re annoyingly fragile and way too easy to flip over.

Vehicles need more weight; if you drive over a pebble they flip over.

I’d much rather be facing/using a weak banshee than banshees we’ve faced in the past.

Vehicles should provide an advantage if used correctly (basically power tools) but also shouldn’t be so strong that they become necessary to use.

Think of Gauss Hogs for example, even on modes they’re built in mind with, they’re unbelievably broken.

You’re right that some vehicles need to be looked into though. I would like a different 3rd shooting angle on the Hog turret personally.

The Wasp and the Ghost are pretty much the only vehicles that are well-balanced in my opinion.

The Warthog is a little trickier as I tend to go back-and-forth with its health. Sometimes I think its a bit weak on BTB, but in Arena games where it spawns on Launch Site and Behemoth it can be pretty devastating thanks to removing the overheat function on the gun and I think that has a lot to do with the greater access to anti-vehicle weapons in BTB such as Shock Rifles, Dynamo Grenades, Skewers, other Power Weapons, other Warthogs, and so on. And with how a lot of drivers in BTB tend to just take the Warthog and gun it into such a crowd of enemies and die while you have other drivers that are a bit more conservative and prove very deadly because of it, the buff/nerf of health is a little difficult for me to be certain on. I think overall I am leaning to giving it more health.

I do think its a bit too floaty though. Definitely need to drain some of the helium from those tires.

Banshee needs buffs. Badly. That is a vehicle that I can say is very weak and considering its not like the Wasp where you can hover behind cliffs and peek out to fire and have to always be flying forward, its most deadly weapon being ramming makes it a flying coffin. I personally hated the Banshee in the previous games and how some pilots can get like two dozen kills without dying, but even so the Banshee’s weapons at the very least need to be more like how they were back then to make it a worthwhile vehicle in Infinite.

The Chopper’s biggest weakness is its handling. Its such an awkward vehicle to drive and losing its ability to ram and destroy vehicles is…very demoralizing. Getting my five splatter kills for this Weekly Ultimate, I did find myself in a Chopper, went head-to-head with a Warthog, boosted right into it, and…

…Yeah. Feels bad, man.

Even worse when I used the Warthog before that to run over a Mongoose and managed to destroy it.

Scorpion…the only complaint I have is its handling when I drove it once in the multiplayer with the rest of my playtime with it being in the campaign. So handling and actually being able to get my hands on it in multiplayer.

Wraith…the main mortar cannon felt a bit small and weak but I really did only drive with it once and only for like 30 seconds before a Scorpion Tank blew me up when I was playing in Highpower (yeah, what a sight that was to see those two together) so I couldn’t get a really thorough feel of it. I didn’t even drive it in the campaign, lol.
