So somewhere awhile ago it was said that 2 new vehicles will be placed within Halo 4, we already know they are The Mammoth and The Mantis, seeing as the Mantis is in multiplayer, does this confirm the Mammoth in aswell? I REALLY hope it’s in some form of multiplayer, maybe not in MM maps but in one of the forge maps please.
It’s not to big of a forge item, i’m fairly sure the grid is larger.
Also, we’ve seen a Screenshot of Falcons, but will they be flyable? So far not a single flying UNSC vehicle has been shown, and there’s only 3 maps left to be revealed, surely atleast 1 of those maps have to be small ones, as of now the maps are evened out size wise.
It is possible that in certain gametypes or even in forge, it’s possible to edit vehicles onto the map, because in Valhalla there is no Scorpion (from what i played at EG) yet on the video that was just released there was a Scorpion there.

Ravine (To small for a Mammoth)

Unknown, BUT (From inside the Grifball court we are told “there’s a large open world outside” it also looks very UNSC like and possible snow can be seen through the window, so possibly a Mammoth could be on that map)

What vehicles do you want, what maps do you want and what forge environments do you want?

oops =( I’ll edit.

Yeah, it seems about all right in your first post, i really want another competitive map !
We haven’t seen the blood gulch/waterworks map right? It could be a huge map featuring the mammoth. Idk, just throwing things out there. There could be another replacement for the Covie warthog niche…
spectre, mammoth, and falcon or hornet
I heard on these forums that there are 10 maps, and 3 forge enviroments. So 13 maps all together. Now, I’ve never recieved a link for this information, even though I’ve asked. (So if anyone has the link/source to this rumour, it would be greatly appreciated)
However, if there are still 3 maps (not forge environments) to be revealed. I think 1 will be another BTB map featuring 2 mammoths on it or 1 in the middle or something. Something similar to Sandtrap.
If not, I’m hoping there is a forgeable sand environment that mammoths can be placed in.

10 maps and 3 forge maps confirmed yes, so in total 5 maps are yet to be revealed, although the forge maps wont be in MM until a later date I would presume.
Mammoth will most likely be in forge, I hope to god it is.
Hmm, unless otherwise said by 343, I doubt we’re going to see the Mammoth in matchmaking as a drivable vehicle. Now as a stationary base to hold, yes. Ala the Dominion gametype.
It’s a bit bigger than the Elephant so maps would have to be even larger to accommodate it.
(Though like many, I too am hoping it is able to be driven.)

Forge would be a viable option though, a grid is much larger than a mammoth.

I don’t think so…

From what we’ve seen it is nowhere near as long as a grid
I’m hoping the Hornet will return. And the Spectre (from Halo 2). The more vehicles the better, IMO. And I agree that it would be nice to have one huge map that a driveable Mammoth or two can fit on.

It’s 4x time an elephant an around 2x a scarab. Yes is bigger than a grid.

Stop being so persistent, your arguing the same thing across 2 different threads.
Elephant
Mammoth
