Vehicles don't always explode right?

I’ve heard that Halo 4 will explore the ascent of humanity as they learn about the Forerunners and become their heirs in the new trilogy. I assume that by Halo 6 we humans will have some frightening stuff. I hope our vehicles don’t explode when you shoot the engine, and maybe there would be some kind of nano-device that could repair a trashed car.

The way vehicles died before was cool, but bland. What if vehicles simply stopped working if they took to much damage? For example, the engine gives out, the wheels are shot clean off, etc. The right weapon could still make a car explode like a rocket launcher or the right shot with a sniper, but it’s a waste of cool ideas to make a car explode every time you push it too far.

So a new weapon: A nano-tech device that sprays a mist of tiny robots, similar in function to the flamethrower. Primary fire eats away at armor, vehicles, the map, whatever. Alternate fire will heal your teammates and repair vehicles. Ammo would be shallow clipwise, but maybe the ammo regenerates over time.

Lemme know what you think.

Eats away at the map?

Yeah, it might degrade things like windows and trees. I don’t know if Halo 4 has such destructible plans, but i hope it does.

Its weird. In CE Warthogs Were indestructible, The UNSC must of gotten very forgetful on how to build good Jeeps. Maybe They Remembered Some Of That That Know-How In Halo 4. It would be nice to have vehicles a little more durable to allow such things such as stopped engines and etc.
