By bad I mean they need to be fixed immediately. Someone has a vehicle, other person doesnt have lazer/launcher and its over before it started. This has completely pushed me away from most game modes. WHAT THE _#$% IS WRONG WITH YOU 343 FOR PUTTING VEHICLES IN ONE #$%^ING INFINITY SLAYER MAP? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? IS THIS AN ACCIDENT?? IS THIS A GLITCH??? I DONT BELIEVE YOU PEOPLE WERE THAT INCOMPEETENT WHEN MAKING THIS GAME TO SAY, OMG LETS PUT HORRIBLY UNBALANCED VEHICLES IN ONE SUPPOSED-TO-BE BALANCED GAME MODE. TAKE VEHICLES OUT OF THIS MAP NOW. and please allow for them to be killed by nades much easier. im sorry for raging, but i will never comprehend what the hell you people were thinking when you added vehicles to that game mode/map
As someone that doesn’t use vehicles too often i think they are actually balanced…
how could you think they are balanced??? you have a vehicle you win, you dont you lose. that is not balanced at all. i get 5+ kills every time i get into a vehicle and i feel bad for it being so imbalanced. im not going to NOT get into vehicles because then i would be giving my enemies an advantage
o.o well cant u spawn with a sticky grenade or a plasma pistol or when u get 5 kills u can just call in a power weapon?

I carry a PP with me in every BTB game, because the EMP effect is really good for stopping vehicles in their tracks.
Another thing: Vehicles are supposed to be powerful, but not impossible to beat. Something as simple as firing your primary at a Ghost or a Warthog or a Banshee, or a Mantis can kill, damage, or at very least deter it.
so im forced to plasma pistol? that is a horrible game mechanic. and yes, vehicles are impossible to beat unless u have the pp, lazer or a launcher… unless the person in the vehicle is afk or is stupid enough to let you take over…
As somebody who uses vehicles often, I can say that they’re nice and balanced. They aren’t overly powerful, as to let you get constant killing frenzies, but they’re not so weak that you’ll die before getting a kill.
You don’t need to only use Plasma Pistol, but it is very good for anti-vehicle combat when you’re on the ground.
DMR especially can take down vehicles or deter them.
Also, why don’t you try, y’know, using your own vehicles or something?
Well you shouldn’t expect to take out a scorpion with one goddamned pistol. That’s the point of a vehicle, they’re powerful

Yeah, that’s uh…what a vehicle is. It’s what it’s supposed to be. I’m not sure if you noticed, but a vehicle is powered by a series of explosions contained in a metal box. The power of the explosions is harnessed to turn the wheels of multi-ton vehicles, which are covered in heavy armor and powerful weapons. A vehicle is essentially a power weapon.
Now go play CoD and you won’t have to worry about vehicles, which if anything are still underpowered.
No pp is not a horrible game mechanic…it is the game mechanic!! You’re the first to complain that they are “op” yet everyone complains that they are too weak. They are perfectly balanced. Only problem is when no one deals with the person on the vehicle and let them run free.
As someone who prefers vehicles, they are balanced.
I find myself getting blown up quite a bit after only 3 or 4 kills in a warthog. The best I did was was 7-10 streak in a scorpian…but it IS scorpian, pretty much the strongest vehicle, and I still only got 7-10 before the entire team went rage on me.
I use vehicles a ton, but they aren’t overpowered. Whenever I see someone with a vehicle I chase them. Sometimes I die and sometimes I don’t. You just have to play it smart and stay near cover in case they got some range on you and start firing at you.
FB, I cann tell your a new player and by no means are the vehicles un balanced. there are many emp weapons in game to beat them, not to mention they arnt hard to avoid as they arnt silent, they are loud and if you arnt prepair hide for a time and go back to what you were doing. Nades of all 3 kinds are great anti vehicle and will help flip it, kill the driver or gunner, or emp it. ever own spawns with grenades so you shouldn’t half to much trouble.
im sorry but you people are obviously very ignorant. i am not as big of a halo fan as many people, but when im required to have a select few guns to kill vehicles, they are imbalanced. when it requires about 4-5 full clips of my ammo(this is absolutely not an exageration, and may be more) to kill a vehicle that kills you before you can finish one clip, vehicles are imbalanced. now, if oyu want to put these insanely imbalanced vehicles in certain game modes then go ahead, but take them out of infinity slayer. andwhoever was taht guy taht said to use the pp, ur a complete moron, i said that i use vehicles too so i dont give the other team and unfair advantage. if you dont have a problem with vehicles then your head is probably too far up ur -Yoink- to play this game anyways

Coming to the forum screaming and babbling will definitely get your point across. Vehicles are more heavily armored than infantry people, hence the reason they are hard to take down without a specialty weapon. A plasma pistol is hardly a “terrible game mechanic” because you need it occasionally to stop a ghost in infinity slayer. There’s a reason they gave you loadouts. They did it to make it easier to adapt midgame to certain situations.
You know, perhaps when everyone on the thread is telling you the same thing, perhaps we aren’t the ignorant (and narrow minded) ones.

You know what you do when you don’t have an anti-vehicle weapon?
Don’t try to fight the vehicle. You will probably lose. It really is that simple. Don’t complain about the vehicles being too tough if you’re not properly equipped to fight them but you’re trying anyway - that’s nobody else’s problem but yours.
Might I add one more thing: You claim to put several rounds of ammo into a vehicle. Well I raise you this… Do you think putting a few mags/clips into a real armored vehicle is going to blow it up? No. You may be able to shoot through a window and kill someone inside, but the vehicle itself is not going to be destroyed. Same goes for Halo 4. The people inside vehicles (excluding tanks) are pretty unprotected from direct impact from the sides or above.
