Vehicle tweeks youd like to see

I remember in either halo ce or halo 2 when tou were in a tank you could also shoot the chain guns on the sides of it. I think it would be pretty cool if now you could shoot the turret while you had no passenger with you, basically just push Y to switch to chain gun.

Also an option as to wheather or not you want a passenger in any vehicle which I know has been said before.

What other tweeks can you think of for a vehicle

I’d really like it too but I think the reason they changed it in Halo 3 was for multiplayer balancing because to Halo 2 tank chaingun was OP. I think it would be a good custom game addition or maybe even a warzone variant. Also being able to sit on the side of the tank like in Halo CE or in Halo ODST would be a good addition

Maybe the oni gungoose be more like the oni warthog, instead of ricochet grenades, the exploding chain gun turret would be cool to me

warthog gunners need a buff so bad

Make the gun depression on the Scorpion relative to the orientation of the tank, rather than fixed to the map.

Make the Scorpion handle like a tank in World of Tanks because it is so hard to control now.

Double the time it takes to hijack a tank by making it so you have to punch a hole in the tank before you can plant a grenade.

What about an option to sabotage flying vehicles. Instead of jacking it.

Yea this would help a lot, especially the flying vehicles. I would say 3 or 4 per team would be good. There should be a good balance between vehicles and weapons. Right now most warzone games are just banshees, phaetons and wasps being spammed constantly. What do you think is a good limit ?

First and foremost, the Hannibal wasp (and wasps in general) are to freaking weak. The Hannibal is a legendary REQ, supposed to compete with say temple, sword, and ultra banshees, and yet it can’t survive ONE Arclight shot to the propeller, even with Wheelman active. It needs to be stronger.

Second we have the Sword Needler Warthog. It’s a level 3 REQ, and needs a two man crew, yet it’s time to kill is rediculously low. This is mostly caused by the low ROF on the turret, which needs a buff. I understand it may be this way because they want to balance its strength, but I think it’s too weak. Think to yourself: how often do people REQ SNWs? Not very often!

Third and probably the last suggestion I have is the Temple Vehicles in general. Sure they have good armor, but their guns are a little lacking. In most battles between a temple and ultra banshee, ultra comes out on top. This may be a fluke but I think it’s due to the Ultras’ high ROF and high damage cannon. The temple vehicles should definitely have a higher ROF in my opinion.

Whoops forgot something else: MAKE THE SCORPION FASTER or have a Rally variant, too many times do I call in a scorpion but spend so much time driving it into the battle that the round is almost over by the time I can start shooting.

Mongooses need to be more fragile! That commendation is killing me.

I think you mean high time to kill instead of low.

Im at level 4/5 at 20/25… Get most of them in BTB when someone is constantly using the goose for CTF, but with the latest BTB update I feel the right maps come up less the before.

Lets say that a Scorpion is sitting on flat terrain so it forms a 0 degree angle to the x-z plane (horizontal, flat) of the map. The gun on the Scorpion can be aimed down (depressed) 15 degrees from the map’s x-z plane (that is just a guess, I don’t know exactly how far it goes). However, this does not change based on whether or not the Scorpion is sitting on a hill. If it was sitting on a hill with a 20 degree slope and aiming down the hill, the maximum amount you can actually depress your gun would be 5 degrees upwards, so in relative to the Scorpion, you’re not even aiming down. That is why this current system is stupid.

If I was sitting on a hill with a 20 degree slope and aiming down the hill, I should be able to depress the gun at a 35 degree angle to the map x-z plane. To put it differently, limit the gun depression to minus 15 degrees to the Scorpion’s x-z plane, not the map’s.

Make sence?

Give the -Yoink!- gunner on the -Yoink!- warthog some more protection please, give the scorpion a slight speed buff so it can actually escape sprinting and slide thrusting spartans, buff the rocket turret on the rocket hog by either making the splash damage higher, the blast radius bigger, or the lock on to air vehicles faster. And overall make all vehicles take in all damage from weapons unless the enemy lands a direct hit on the drivers/passengers/gunners (aka no more banshee triple kills in oni warthog) and maybe buff the gungoose according to the former.

Id say a total rec limit of 15 to see how balanced it comes

I guess that could work but would be kinda complicated. Be easier to just say how many vehicles each team can have

The temple vehicles already do have a high ROF and they can shoot while boosting. The temple wraith shoots a lot faster than the ultra and also has better handling and longer boost. The ghost ultra has higher damage with less speed. The temple ghost has less damage with high speed and handling. As for the banshee ultra and temple banshee I think their ROF are pretty close but I’m not totally sure. It would come down to the pilot though because they are very similar in stats. A YouTuber called Spliced loved the Banshee and said the Temple was his favorite

Scorpion-
Where do I even start? First, the controls need to be updated because the current controls are horrendous. Second, it needs to be faster. Maybe not Reach-level speed, but something that will give a tank a chance against somebody thats running up behind you. Third, bring back the ability to shoot boarders off, it was a mistake to take away the only offensive ability a hijacked tanker has. Fourth, make ONIs less rare I’ve gotten zero in the hundreds of packs I’ve bought besides the cert. (and no, I’m not exaggerating)

Warthogs-
Okay, make them actually heavy, not the helium-filled flip-prone balloons they are now. Then add gunner protection, these things are useless without any sort of for the gun.

Ghost-
These things are actually quite balanced. Not much to say except change the splatter physics…I shouldn’t be able to slightly tap a teammate and they die, then plow through an enemy while boosting and they survive somehow.

Wraith-
Pretty decent now honestly. I don’t know why the Wraith and Ghost are so different with splattering but I shouldn’t be splattered with a 2 mile-a-hour Wraith.

Gungoose-
Gungeese are pretty great. I would somehow change the ONI because that thing, even after the slight buff it sucks. Either make the proximity sensor on the grenades larger or change it fundamentally somehow.

Banshee- Get rid of the “Swap weapons” crap and just have different buttons for the bomb and machine guns like CE. Make cooldown timer for the evade function and evade no longer cancels tracking projectiles.

Wasp-
Not much to change, but add a LITTLE more armor to the props. a single railgun shot shouldn’t take out a Hannibal Wasp…

Phaeton-
Oh boy…There has to be some kind of protection for the BIG GIANT HOLE on the bottom. Its a flying vehicle, the vehicle is fundamentally flawed by having the weakpoint on the BOTTOM. Either literally change the whole thing and get rid of the huge weakpoint or add some kind of shield that can be shot off or something. Also add more armor points because its still really weak.

Mantis-
One thing that should change is the stomps range. Too small honestly. Also I miss being able to fire single rockets like Halo 4.

I also think there should be a general buff to vehicle health in general
