So I noticed something that seems like a bug, when using a warthog turret or scorpion tank, when aiming the gun if on an incline facing downward, you can’t aim down any further than normal no matter what kind of incline you are on. If it is a bug, please fix it.
It’s not really a bug. Warthog turrets and Scorpion guns always had tricky gun depression, meaning how far you can aim your gun downwards until you reach a certain point. Inclines and rough terrain can make things worse.
I know what you are trying to say, but just because it is part of the vehicle mechanics, doesn’t mean that it shouldn’t be changed. This is also in the previous games as far as I can tell, except in Halo CE, but it is not as severe as it is in Halo 5. Also just because it is in previous games is not an excuse for it to remain and not be changed. I can honestly tell you that it annoys me when I play and I cannot look down a slope enough especially in warzone firefight, where 1 extra tank may count when winning, and not being able to aim at the enemy because I am not on flat ground. I specifically checked the previous games except for Reach, and found that it is somewhat annoying in the games, but not game breaking annoying. In Halo 5 it is an issue that bugs me and is a factor in game play, because the size of the warzone maps in general are big and the amount of slopes in them are more than the previous games. I just hope they mitigate or eliminate this issue in Halo Infinite.
