That’s why I personally don’t play Warzone or Warzone Assault too often. Just too many issues that make it unenjoyable.

Yeah, clips or it didn’t happen!
AFAIK nothing can destroy the core until you get up those first stairs to that little alcove/hallway. I’ve seen scorpions blasting a core with doing no damage to it.
What usually happens is the scorpion for allows for teammates to run in with no resistance and destroy the core quickly, especially if they have fuel rods. The same goes for when people user a gungoose or anything that provides constant fire into the room.
I’m not 100% sure on if the plasma caster explosions do damage to it or not.
I’m sorry if I’m mistaken, but I’ve seen people hiring the core from outside and doing 0 damage. I play assault 95% of the time so regular warzone may be different.
