I submit that, in the case that your vehicle survives to the end of a Warzone or Warzone Assault game, you have your vehicle card refunded. This helps prevent wasting your vehicles when you spawn one and your core/enemy core is destroyed immediately afterwards.
i kinda like this idea but we run the issue of if people start to get badly damage they just hide in the base so they dont lose it, find a practical fix to people hiding to save their req and itll be fine

Solution: don’t spawn one when your core is exposed and game is close to end
Seems like a decent idea, though could use some limitations. If your vehicle takes any visible damage, you are no longer able to refund it. Maybe let you repair for 10x the sell price since you still have it? Or use other vehicles under the same brand/type as spare parts, but the vehicle starts out damaged if you use it? Same thing could be applied to weapon reqs. Like the spnkr that fires hydra missiles could use the hydra as a refill req.
Using damaged vehicles seems like a decent idea. Although would you ever spawn with a tank that is 80% damaged and on fire for the same REQ points you can get a new one for?
The thing with balancing req point cost with hp pool is that hp isnt the only thing that some vehicles are better ay. The oni scorp for example shoots faster, harder, and is really tough. Id say the 3rd tier will always cost the same, but 2nd tier changes based on how close it is to tier 1 health. Of course, you can buy a new one if you want over a damaged one.

My thoughts exactly. If you are aware of whats going on in the game, score, time, which bosses are left, then you have a better idea of whether to use a vehicle or not so you don’t waste it.
Of course, we all made dumb choices. So many times I would spawn a tank on apex to join the final battle, only for the game to end before I even get a line of site on the enemy driving that slow thing out of home base.
When it is boarded before you gain full control (vehicle spawn campers) then I feel you should get a refund. Or maybe if you are boarded within a couple seconds after gaining full control. Nothing like spawning a legendary vehicle only to immediately have it boarded by a camper before you even have a chance to drive it.
Maybe they could only refund tier 3 weapons/vehicles as they were at the end of the match. They also get used first when you go to REQ another one.

I wish the ONI scorpion just drove faster, instead of shooting faster. I shouldn’t be able to sprint-boost-slide after one and catch up to board it. I understand the stronger armor and better guns for the other ONI vehicles but I feel the tank would have been much more game changing if they just made it more maneuverable (faster) as an upgrade instead of upgrading the cannon.
I still see a tank as a tank. During multiplayer you always had people support you when you were in the tank. That’s because there was only one and it could change the game. Knowing that one could come out anytime has in a sense depleted the “value” of these vehicles. Of course the person spawning them wants the support
