Okay, so hopefully everyone has seen this picture by now. It’s a very interesting picture, depicting what could be either a Forerunner structure, or a vehicle. In order to determine which it really is, I did some research.
So on the topic of it being a vehicle. I say that this is likely. First off, it just seems to move like you would expect a Forerunner vehicle of that size to move like. We haven’t seen any structure, that I know of, do this so far. Also, there’s this. This wreck has shown up multiple times. Thanks to another forum member I’ve seen that it is one of these vehicles, which also just happens to be the setting of Exile. However, this wreck seems much more badly damaged then the one of Exile, something obviously shot it down. I just feel like I should point the blame at this vehicle/structure, as I haven’t seen any Covenant weapons that have that kind of power. Also, this just screams suspicious (Josh was doing a campaign playthrough at the time, he would be around this mission, if I’m right).
On the topic of it being a structure. I really don’t have much on this other then the fact that it doesn’t move much, other then the “limbs”. It seems odd for it to not be looking at the enemies, but that may be because it’s just powering up, and 343i didn’t want to spoil anything.

Seems a little big to be the Composer, but anything’s possible.
Hopefully it’s what Josh killed. Come to think of it, what if he used the mech to kill it. The mech could be the large thing he used to kill the even larger thing. I would love to kill that thing. Killing something a thousand times bigger than you is always satisfying. Double Scarabs in H3 the first time anyone? Oh yea, I felt like a BA.

Well, from what we’ve seen, the mech is used while on Infinity, to repel boarders or something. But you never know.

The crash on exile is a crashed frigate. also, I believe the crash in the return of the forunner vidoc is the FUD.

Where is it said to be a Frigate.
Also, returning to FUD makes no sense, especially if you have to mobilize an army like that to get there. Cortana most likely deleted all information before they crashed, and there isn’t anything of value there. Plus, the engines match up to the ship’s engines on Exile.
