Vehicle Health System

I just finished watching Naked Eli’s Halo 4 video (can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1rdfWjD5zU). It was awesome. I noticed that vehicles seem to be in their Reach state. Vehicles have a set amount of health and are not dependent on the strength of the driver. Can anyone confirm this? What are the opinions on this?

Personally, I did not like Reach’s system all too much. The DMR, a starting weapon no less, could take down a Banshee or Warthog. It made me steer away from vehicular combat.

Vehicles have always had their own health, the health system has been the same for all the games.

Well all the halo vehicles had a set amount of health, 'cept for CE obviously…

It is just that the set amount of health they had was a LOT

Yes, its still go the health system similar to Reach. However, the vehicles seems to be much more resistant to small arms fire than in Reach. They also don’t seem to flip out of control from DMR fire anymore, so based on this alone vehicle combat could very well make a return.
