I think it would be really good if 343 put in an option to toggle between first and third person when driving vehicles in Halo 4.
How awesome would it be splattering people in first person!
Maybe, add a little better destruction physics and you have flying Spartans and bullets cracking your windshield making it really look like you were there. I support this idea.
I played the ACE COMBAT ASSAULT HORIZON demo and it had a third toggle. My memory’s fuzzy but I think it was one with less detail, more convenient for battle.
And I think Halo 4 should have 3 toggles like it. The classic third person, detailed first person for realism, and a first person for combat and gameplay.
I thought there was after the beta intro.And if that intro was filmed in the game engine I think it’s entirly possible to put in Halo 4.
But I don’t see much of an advantage to having it first person so everyone will want to use 3rd person whenever they can if there playing to win but If there was a forced option in Race or some advantage to using 1st person in battle then it would be an awesome option instead of just a novelty.
id love it driving in first person on bad company makes it seem more intense
