I would like to see the developers create digital finger prints for user vehicles so they can’t be taken by inconsiderate players when the Original User gets out to access req stations. They should be able to force eject any player from their vehicle within close proximity to a req station.
Basically, you want the vehicle to be “locked up” so when the initial user leaves to get a REQ, it won’t be stolen by another person?
I’m not a fan of that action.
I think I know what OP is saying, and after a map a few days back I would agree.
The vehicle isn’t locked up. If I leave my ghost to get a new REQ, it can be taken right away.
However, if some **** flips it between rounds, and jacks it, it can be taken back by the owner that is clearly using it.
I vote yes.
I would rather have a REQ card added if you didn’t die with said REQ. EXAMPLE:
You have a Scorpion for the last match on Warzone Firefight. You succeed in winning the round with your scorpion or weapon intact. This should then be instantly readded. That’s how I feel, if you die while in a vehicle and the vehicle is still intact anyone should get in it. What if the last few minutes you died. The vehicle is still good and your team could win if they use the vehicle you died in?
I like to hop in as soon as you get out then run you over …splat lmfao
It makes it difficult to grab the Wheelman req, when you make the jump to six, knowing that someone on YOUR team will steal the req card you earned/bought. I hate that crap myself & would extend the lockdown to legendary weapons too. Sucks when you call in a legendary, to be killed at the req station, or spawned out in the open to be killed before making it to cover to get any use out of your req.

for your first point, I agree, I’ve always thought that if you’ve made it to the end of the fifth round with your vehicle that it should be added back to your Req cards.
your second point, I also agree with you, and disagree with AmericanEchidna ,if you die and your vehicle is in serviceable condition, then someone can use that to the benefit of the team, if it’s locked it’s a loss of benefit to the team as it disappears before you can respawn and get to it.
as for J Teeps " If I leave my ghost to get a new REQ, it can be taken right away.". True, but there are ones that abandon there ghosts or other vehicles for a different Req, I most often will hop into a vehicle that the owner hops out of to go to a Req Station. I will however stay for a period where the vehicle was left, IF the original owner comes back I always relinquish it back to them, if however, in most cases, they don’t come back then that vehicle is still able to benefit the team.
And even on some occasions if someone gets shot out of their vehicle and I catch the name, I have been known to let them have their vehicle back or drive them around (warthogs)
I’ve never had an issue with teammates stealing my vehicles, but I usually use them for 1 round, then upgrade to a new one and let my team have the old one.
I like this idea, definitely should have been implemented, you know how many wasps I have lost to teammates?!?!
Just go to a REQ station far away from your teammates (Home Base works well). That’s what I do if I’m concerned about a -Yoink- teammate/s jacking a particular vehicle I want to hold on to for an extended period of time. Problem solved.

…or if you’re like me, you can blow up the old (damaged) vehicle before someone kills you in the explosion. A bit of a waste, but it’s a habit of mine.
But, I actually prefer it when teammates take the vehicles that I leave behind… Even if I’m just getting out to put on Wheelman, I don’t mind because it’s good for the team and I have enough vehicles to call in another of whatever they took.

This is exactly why I leave my old vehicles for my teammates at the end of each round. I’d rather have them using my vehicle than no vehicle at all, especially since I can always just call in more.
How about if a teammate takes it then that’s okay, but if an enemy gets in then it blows up?

But shouldn’t stealing the vehicles of your opponent be something you want to do? If you want something like this, it could be an armor mod that plants a grenade in your vehicle if you are hijacked and kicked out, but I don’t think that should be something that automatically happens when your vehicle is stolen.
I’ll usually go to REQ stations where no one is around when I get out of my vehicle. I have stolen someone’s ghost before when they got out to troll them, but I gave it back shortly thereafter.

Agreed I had a similar experience a while when Warzone Turbo was new in which some spartan stole my ONI Mantis while getting the wheelman mod and two damage boosts and it wasn’t until my damage boosts were up that I was able to get my mantis back. At least make it when near your vehicle a person can’t access it for a few seconds giving you time to buy reqs but its to late to implement in the game at this time.
When you choose to pick a vehicle and get out then that’s your loss… I understand the frustration of losing your req card but if they start locking the vehicles it’ll take the ability of the other team to change the momentum of the game. I’ve had my own teammates try to flip me in the past but you can still run them over and continue your game.
