Here is something I would very much like to see in H5: when vehicles flip, I hope the Spartans inside don’t magically pop out upright. I think there should be a brief (1 second) animation of them pulling out of the vehicle and pulling their bodies upright. The way it works now when a vehicle comes to a standstill upside down, the players kind of “spawn” outside of the vehicle. It would look more realistic, and punish players for letting their vehicle be flipped.
It can be disconcerting if you are in CQB near a flipping 'hog and all of a sudden 3 people are pointing guns at you.
That is quiet a good idea. It would have to be fast though but I don’t know how easy it would be to implement. But no I like that idea the animations lasts like half a second, so its not too damaging if you did it but would be enough time in a battle for you to possibly pay for a mistake.

I wonder how hard it would be to implement really. It seems like they could use some of the first person animations from the clamber to push yourself up off the ground or pull out of the vehicle.
I think the idea is a good one, but realistically, it might be hard for the devs. A few animations isn’t hard, but making them seem realistic/viable in all of the weird and wonderful positions a Warthog can end up in might be difficult. That, and it might be a bit awkward in a scorpion/wraith. You’d practically have to bench press the thing.

Yeah that is a good point, but how often do those vehicles get flipped in the course of a game? Even if they just put this feature into Warthogs and Ghosts, it would make me a very happy person.
I think it is a neat feature. Even if we still just fall out and spawn next to it somewhere I would ask that they add a horizontal clamber animation on the ground, a “picking yourself up” animation if you will.
I think i wouldn’t work because when the warthog flips it dances on the ground, the ejection is to avoid making you lose 10 minutes with you warthog bouncing on the floor.

How often they flip? The warthog is a dancing bull in the battlefield

The ejection animation could be started at the same time the “spawn outside vehicle” would occur. This wouldn’t impact gameplay too much, just punish those in the 'hog a little bit for getting flipped and make the game look more realistic.

I was speaking specifically about the Scorpion and Wraith.
