Well there is forge and im sure with item respawn u can create something like that but idk
I think that would be cool but i can see it being used to kill ppl lol

I see no reason why vehicles couldn’t be dropped besides the devs specifically disallowing it.

Vehicles generally are not dropped into the combat zone. They are generally transported in V.I.A Pelican dropship or deployed V.I.A vehicle bay of a ship.

Isn’t that the same as dropping them just with different visuals?

No not really, ODSTs generally drop into the combat zone, weapon drops are dropped in v.i.a pod, vehicles generally are not stuffed into a crate or pod and dropped into the combat zone at high altitudes.
The examples I gave you are of vehicles being brought in at low altitudes.
The only vehicles I have even seen dropped into a combat zone is the living tank known as a scarab and that only barely counts.
