Now before anyone starts with this being a balance issue, I do not mean customization in terms of making the vehicles gain different stats, I mean pure cosmetic customization. We already have the ability to apply armor coatings to the vehicles that can change their colors, textures, ect. But I would like to be able to customize things like, how the shield on the Warthog looks, or the barrel of the Scorpion tank ect. I think it would be cool if we could get some classic parts that we could apply to our vehicles that lets them look retro, as well as parts that lets them look new, and possible much like the armors we could get goofy, non cannon parts to add to our vehicles. I would love to be able to say, keep the body of the Banshee as is in Halo Infinite, but give it the classic wings from Halo’s CE through 3, maybe even give it 5s tails, or give the Warthog 5s body with Reach’s tires and the Classic turret shield, ect. So that it can honor all of the different variations of the Vehicles over the years.
I would love vehicle skins that actually change the model, specially for banished vehicles. using covie vehicles instead of banished vehicles would be cool. and using the Halo Wars 2 models in Infinite would be amazing as IMO HW2 has the best vehicle designs out of the whole franchise.

This would be quite amazing, also maybe for enemies in firefight/campaign. I love the hunter design of reach for example.
For multiplayer customisation I’d rather have this form of skins then weird colour coatings

Some great looking stuff in HW2, the Wraith in particular looks amazing.
yes it would be a good idea to put vehicle customizations, it would allow us to have the vehicles to our taste.
Isn’t there mention of vehicle cores? I think that might mean we can pick different models and looks.
