I wish we had gotten the third variant for the nade launcher. (halo 5 would have 100 weapons instead of 99 rip)

You mean an M203 (replace with a futuristic designation) that has existed way before Fish-sticks 4 was even a thought

I kind of want to see a Hannibal Warthog and Hannibal Gungoose. Yes, we have an oversaturation of hogs at this point. I don’t care. A Hannibal variant would make it totally worth it. Would just be like the Scorpion gunner / mantis lasergun except strapped onto a warthog and borrowing the Wasp/Mantis/Swordhog’s shielding.
Hannibal Gungoose… Borrows the Hannibal Wasp’s proximity detonation carpet bomb, except it fires less of them per shot. Also give it shields because a Hannibal vehicle without shields just sounds strange.
What about a Mythic Hydra? Give it semi-camo to hide the tell light on it, no descope, and a faster lock-on.
I’m not so happy with 343’s lackluster approach to making some of the weapon and vehicle variants. Things like the multitude of Warthogs that only recieve a minor boost in armour is unimaginative and boring.
The Rally Hog was the right idea, I just wish it wasn’t a Rally Hog….
Weapon Ideas
Tactical AR:
AR with integrated tactical flashlight. Can be activated to “flash” an opponent, momentarily blinding them.
Blast BR
BR with integrated kinetic blast module. Rechargeable alt-fire mode that can be activated with the melee button while zoomed. Knocks opponents back, countering melee attacks. Can also push incoming grenades or projectiles away. Has a fairly long recharge time.
Defender BR
BR with integrated proximity explosive launcher. Rechargeable alt-fire mode that can be activated with the melee button while zoomed. Launches a proximity explosive that adheres to surfaces and objects. Proximity explosive only deals moderate damage, reducing shields to half, however, it will outright kill unshielded Spartans. Ability is only restored when performing a full reload (from empty to full), which has a longer animation.
Infiltrator SMG
SMG with integrated scrambler launcher. Rechargeable alt-fire mode that can be activated with the melee button while zoomed. Launches a minnature scarmbler grenade that causes disruptions to key elements of all Spartan HUD’s in the vicinity of the grenade. Ability is only restored when performing a full reload (from empty to full), which has a longer animation.
Plasma Executor
Plasma based sniper rifle that must charge before firing a beam of superheated plasma. Has two distinct power levels that are automatically reached by continuing to charge. The first level behaves like a Beam Rifle in terms of damage, however, it takes three body shots to kill. The second level is an instant kill, but it drains the user’s shields when the weapon discharges.
Scrambler Grenade
Causes disruptions to key elements of all Spartan HUD’s in the vicinity of the grenade. Can only deal shield damage, and only during initial explosion.
Vehicle Ideas
Arctic Warthog
Replaces the Tundra Warthog. Lower max speed and higher grip for moving over ice. Chain-gun deals more damage and overheats slower at the cost of rate-of-fire.
Desert Warthog
Replaces Corp Warthog. Higher max speed and more armour (on the model too). Chain-gun replaced with semi-automatic cannon that launches heavy rounds that shred armour, but have travel time.
Jungle Warthog
Replaces Woodland Warthog. Chain-gun has a lower rate-of-fire and fires in bursts that make it easier to hit targets amongst dense vegetation and cover. Vehicles driver can can mark targets by looking at them, which highlights them for the gunner.
Metropolitan Warthog
Replaces Urban Warthog. Higher max speed and acceleration. Enhanced suspension makes it less likely to roll. Chain-gun has a higher rate-of-fire but sports a lower effective range and overheats and cools faster.
Keep in mind that these are just ideas that I thought were kinda fun; I’m not infatuated with them and I wouldn’t expect them all to just work if you put them in the game without tons of testing and tweaking.
PS: 343 should just let us choose weapon attachments in Halo 6 (not for Arena) because the multitude of stupid loadout weapons are the same damn thing with a different skin, probably to save face and not look like what CoD does. If you had some sort of “power” limitations per weapon, and balanced different attachments with different power costs, it would effectively be the same as in Halo 5, without 10 variations of the same cruddy AR, BR, DMR, SMG blocking up the REQ system. Well that’s just my crappy opinion.

There is one, it fires a cluster grenade they just haven’t added it yet, look up Gamecheat13 on youtube
