Validation Error

So I just loaded up Halo 4 and am on the first menu you see with Campaign, Infinity, Waypoint, and the marketplace. As soon as the DLC check completed, I got a validation error along the lines of “you either aren’t connected to Xbox Live or you don’t have the Infinity Multiplayer components on your system.”

I am connected to Xbox Live, but I’m currently stuck on my girlfriend’s Xbox 360 that doesn’t have enough space to install the multiplayer sections of the game. I haven’t even tried accessing anything yet and I’ve never seen this message even on this Xbox 360 before. Should I continue to attempt to play the Campaign or would I be risking corruption etc. by doing so?
