I saw one thread that people said they didn’t like this playlist, but Im loving it. The Halo 2 BR starts are great and its nice to finally have doubles. The only problem is the maps. They are plenty of maps (ive played on 4 different maps in about 6 games) but that breakout grid texture it a turnoff. So if 343 could make these maps better texture and make this a permanent playlist, Id be happy. I just tired of playing warzone and 4v4 slayer. How hard is it to make this permanent instead of a weekend.
I only played a few of these but I thought it was quite fun as a casual playlist. I feel it should stay.
I approve of this as a social playlist, but only if the maps are scrubbed of the pink and the hearts. It works for Valentine’s day, but nothing else. Keep the playlist maps as a custom games variant of existing Breakout maps though.
Most of the Breakout maps didn’t work in my opinion. Some were fine but others were a disaster. Trident was fine, entrenched, not so much.
I think Truth and Coliseum would work great for doubles, you’d obviously have to alter the weapons. Eden and Empire would be terrible.
