What if 343 allowed you to use your own voice in Firefight or Spartan Ops? You will get what I am saying in a sec…
How about instead of choosing character voices for Firefight and Spartan Ops (assuming there will be the option in Spartan ops) you could create your own!
How will it work? Simple
343 would have to create a way to record a persons voice through a headset and integrate in the game. For each phrase that a spartan would say… EXs: Reloading! I’m Under fire! Contact! Etc. You would use your own/made up voice to say the words.
The way I see it is under the right phrase, you read what phrase you want to be said, game records your voice and BINGO. So instead of the game using the characters voice at the right moment, you and other players would hear your voice yelling GRENADE in the way you want it to sound. If you want the GRENADE phrase to sound like… GRANADA! Just record your voice in the spartan voice settings under grenade, and make it happen.

The ability to talk
Imagine the possibilities and how fun it would be. Hearing an another online Spartan yelling “Grunts Suck” as he/she throws a grenade. I guess some people/ I would get too foul with it, but that is what would make it even better. It was just an idea; let me know how you feel about it. Please post a comment to keep this idea alive. Also you don’t have to rip on me it was just an idea. This forum post is more interesting than the “343 is killing halo” threads btw.
EDIT: What if there was some Microsoft censer that would not allow foul language? They could use the same system that Microsoft uses on Xbox Bing, word recognition.

Terrible idea. People will be saying all sorts of dirty things if you ever do matchmaking with randoms. Would need to change the rating to whatever is higher than M. Bad for sales.

It could get pretty hilarious, and I think they shouldn’t censor anything. It can piss some people off lolz. I’d probably just annoy someone else with it.

GREAT IDEA!!! That’s great, Involving your own voice for spartans ops or even in customization of armor in halo 4!! What about the Swearing words? there are some kids might swear here and there while recording… That’s another problem you or others have to think of.
