Using two Equipment at once, Dual Wielding, and more

Since Halo Infinite is supposed to be a ten-year game, it’d be great to see the return of old features, and the introduction of features to enhance the Custom Games experience. The lack of Loadouts, Ordnance, and Dual Wielding kind of hurt some game types I wanted to try out and remake. Because there aren’t any Loadouts, some of the Forge budget is going to waste to properly prepare all players of a Custom mode instead of being used towards map design. Ordnance is whatever for me, but I’m sure some Custom Modes would have used that to its full potential. Using two equipment at once, in addition to giving Custom Games more options, allows the sandbox to shine more in multiplayer, especially on BTB maps. Dual Wielding, even though it was kind of imbalanced before, gives players more options in how to approach an encounter.

Basically, more features for more options so Halo Infinite can truly be “infinite”

On the recent campaign trailer look at around 4:29. The player uses thrust, but has his grappleshot selected has their equipment. So, we just may get the “using two equipment’s at once.”

I mean, from a custom game mode perspective sure. But the thought of any of this being added hurts my soul lol

That is most likely a campaign exclusive thing. It might be in custom games however.

The game could never be competitive if any of this made it to multiplayer. Cant imagine trying to balance dual wielding again. But in custom games, I would hope so

I really hope dual wielding doesn’t come back. They can easily make single guns to do the same thing and have an easier time balancing it.

I do not see why 343 would restrict the amount of equipment you can use in custom games. Imagine the possibilities of creative gametypes it would open up.

Forge was the gmod of xbox when it first debuted, so I don’t see why we wouldn’t be able to stack abilities and equipment?
