Man at first I thought it was a terrible gun but after watching this video just realized I was using it all wrong
Its like a weapon straight out of Wanted!! Def gonna have a lot of fun curving rockets and droping them down like a Javelin. What do you guys think of the hydra and what changes would you like done to the gun
Ya at first when i got it i thought it sucked but then i realized when using the scope it locked on and actually was very good

Agree and also that moving away from the target doesn’t remove the lock. Allows for some interesting shots

That was the most hilarious medal that I heard in the Halo 5 Beta, and that’s saying a lot. They better change it though, because Jeff sounds like a -Yoink!- when he says it.
Anyway, I apologize for getting off-topic. I was looking at the post-beta changes a week ago and came across Quinn DelHoyo’s tweet that they put on the page so people could see how to use the Hydra. I never realized until then that you were supposed to take advantage of the lock-on system by firing at high angles so that the rockets could come in unexpectedly and obliterate the enemy. It turns out that the Hydra is a far more effective weapon then what most of us thought…
It’s amazing when used right. It might even be a bit OP but I don’t know, we’ll have to play around with it for some time
