Using sentinel br with laser targeter?

I have a quick question. I pre-ordered halo 5. I unlocked the sentinel br with laser targeter but I don’t know how to equip it so I can use it in custom games. I requisition, then collections, then loadouts and I can see the sentinel br. It’s unlocked. I can click it but that doesn’t let me actually use it. What am I doing wrong? If someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Weapon variants are not available in custom games. Just Warzone.

Oh so then only game type I can use the sentinel br is in war zone? No custom games or campaign?

Bingo. Warzone is the only place you can use any REQ loadout weapons.

Warzone is the only place but I would be very happy if they could add it to custom games. A setting to allow everyone to use their unlocks even if you are choosing an arena game type. Could get some interesting match results.
