Could an external SSD help with those update textures when you’re close to enemies? it seems slow the frame rate, I experienced it before in beta that’s bother me.
Doesn’t the xbone have an internal SSD?

No, but there’s a hybrid hard disk coming with Elite xbox one
Just about anything is better that the internal HD.

sorry I misunderstand you post xD
I have an external 400GB SSD, but haven’t noticed any increase in frame rates, graphical details, or drawing distances when playing the MCC. As mentioned above, only the loading times are decreased.

I’m not talking about increase the frame rate instead avoid decrease since the game does textures updates when you get things close, so the system has to locate the textures whiles you’re playing for that reason I experienced many slowdowns when I got close an enemy. I guess a faster hard drive could solve this issue

I doubt that you can achieve any performance boost apart from faster loading textures, and for that you would get almost the same benefit with a standard HDD (not even a 7400 rpms one). Here’s a quote from an article of Eurogamer “While having higher quality artwork resolving on-screen more quickly certainly helps improve the presentation on the occasional game this alone isn’t enough to justify the premium price point commanded by solid state and hybrid storage drives, although a subtle boost in performance (even just in the form of more consistent frame-time) would make the expense far for justifiable. But as we saw when carrying out similar tests across multiple drives on PS4, we found no additional performance benefits when using a faster hard drive or SSD. Frame-rates remained unchanged on all the games we tested, with frame-pacing issues appearing at similar points during gameplay when under load.”
The article is great as It also presents data of multiple external hard drives and the differences between them and the Xbox One HDD, you should give it a shot! http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2014-xbox-one-external-hard-drive-upgrade-guide

I’ve had the SSD for so long, I can’t remember the last time I played a game from the internal POS drive.
The smallest drive allowed to store games is 256GB. Last I checked, Amazon had a raw SanDisc drive in that size for under $85 shipped. You’d still need the SATAIII to USB3.0 interface cable which can be found on eBay for cheap.
If anything youll just get faster loading times.
I doubt it. I assume that all the textures are loaded into RAM, so while you’d save a little time in loading the map, you’d still have to wait for everyone else anyway.
I have a 3 TB external no issues with texures or loading

you got a point, RAM in xbox isn’t fast enough. I could buy a $500 x1 at launch only if they had better component instead the kinect. I hope they keep it mind for the next xbox
