The game requires mode specific challenges, but does not allow for mode specific matchmaking. That is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. I have a single challenge left and am expected to play 20 quick play games to get the single game mode required. That sounds great if you’re only audience is 14 year old children that have nothing to do and can play 20 games to fulfill a single challenge. If you want to appeal to people that actually have money and buy your cosmetic upgrades and purchase boosts you need to appeal to some level of efficiency. I hope you find the resources needed to improve basic functionality so that you don’t just tank recently acquired companies. If you cannot provide basic functionality, you shouldn’t ban players for exiting games that can’t fulfill a single challenge. The fault of that situation is on you, not the player. Maybe study the concept of game theory for 10 minutes. I would have assumed that game theory was understood as a game developer, my mistake.
I had to play over an hour of quickplay to get the strongholds match I needed.
I didn’t quit though as that negatively impacts my teammates.
Don’t quit if you don’t want to be banned
Certainly keep providing feedback on here about the poor challenge system though, hopefully they’ll change things.
I agree, I usually just hang in there. I had a single weekly challenge left for capture the flag and literally could not get that game mode to save my life. I have a 9 month old son and try to use what free time I have to enjoy a game here or there. Halos system is so broken, it does not allow for a casual gamer to efficiently play the game. I just hope they can make significant improvements.
Well, while people do get banned, the effect is still there if enough people do quit.
At some point, i343 would have to start looking into why players are match hopping to the extent that they’re getting banned, and try to correct that.
Get banned too much and I’m sure players will stop playing altogether.
Very true, I am hoping they might start figuring out why so many people are quitting all the time and make changes.
