Used 14 day trial code, but still no online access

So consider this an update from some of my other posts. I was complaining about the link being provided to activate the 14 day trial was not working. Now it has something on the page and prompts you to get the code and redeem it. I’ve redeemed the code and its been confirmed, but when I go to multiplayer and press on Arena and Warzone, it still says I need xbox live. What is going on???

And yes even on subscriptions in settings, it doesn’t say I have xbox live. This issue really needs to be fixed.

i do think this is more of an issue on microsofts side though.

I thought I was the only one, but I’m not. Is your issue the exact same to what I’ve described.

if you mean that i redeemed the code and the code is not re-redeemable anymore (which should be normal) but i still have no gold then yes

Yeah. Like I thought the problem was solved but then when it still prohibited me from going on arena and warzone… I was just like “UGH”. I really hope they fix the issue soon.

same, still waiting for it to work. remember that they want us to pay for this service normally… like hell i will. this is not giving me any confidence in their service at all :frowning:
to be frank. the only reason i have a an xbox is for halo. other than that i just do all on PC, no unreliable xbox live bs. PC MASTER RACE.

Yeah man I see where you are coming from. I really hope they are doing something to fix this issue right now…

I’m glad I’m not the only one who encountered this. Unfortunate i don’t have anything to add and help other than that I’m in the same annoying spot as you two. I feel like i should have redeemed it before i started with the campaign. Maybe during the 7h and 40-48 min i spent finishing the campaign it would have been working for me by now. Oh well. Just gonna have to wait until it’s hopefully fixed.

What do you think the problem is? It seems like it’s not verifying itself. At first I thought it was a problem with me but now I see other users have the same issue, something is up. I hope 343 can fix the problem because it’s bugging me how the game is like 75% unplayable because of this issue.

Same problem. 343 where is our answer??? False advertising that it comes with free gold then I buy the game to play online and can’t. Looks like more problems from 343 again.

it’s working for me now. almost 24 hours later. 1/NeverDoingThatAgain, would never use again.
in the era of the internet this should not take that long…

yeah, I kept on punching in the code but it would always say I already have Gold Live and tell me to give it to someone who doesn’t THEN ask me to buy Gold Live because apparently I don’t have it…

same thing happened to me, activated code, it recognized the code as a 14 day trial. then bunked on me when i selected arena after
awhaaaaaat!?

Please don’t revive topics thanks, you’re better start a new topic for issues. Regarding your issue though, you might be better contacting Xbox Live support if your gold access is not working
