Ok, so whenever I play halo now I feel like no one uses there headsets any more. Please reconsider using one I know there are crazy buttholes out there but just mute them. Halo is such a social game (when we can play it) that it gets boring when you are the only one with a headset. All I ask is that you give it a try if you don’t use one anymore, or are shy. Most of us like to have a good time and would love to help the team more by chatting.

Right now I know it’s frustrating its almost like the MCC is a GF/BF that’s being a pain the the -Yoink!- and you swear you hate them, but then they come down the stairs wearing nothing and you forget all about them being a pain in the rear and have fun again. The time is coming to have fun again soon I hope.

Need to mod that crap headset that came with the box, so you can play with your killer headset from the 360?

Save a buck.
The crap wires on it are crap to solder (still works, just more fragile hard to work with), much cleaner if you can do the solder at the puck.
I know that’s $40 no one wants to give to MS. Just paid for your soldering materials.
And I’m just adding that if it’s because you have a bad–Yoink- pair of gaming speakers that fit on your head, and aren’t using them b/c you already blew your paycheck on a shiny black brick, you got a few day minimum before it gets hot and heavy on XBL…

I wasn’t hating brother you have some good advise. Just sucks not being able to chat during gameplay with people who have a functional headset, if they don’t, then check into what KOS is talking about.
Agreed. Remember kids, what fun is it to spout hate at eachother on the forums…
Chat is unfiltered, imagine the possibilities…
Also, having a headset is pretty important if you want to not just roll around the Halo-verse with a bunch of randoms with their own agendas.
Communication is a two-way street and not everyone knows AR Morse Code. (or any other forms of NoobComm: honking, shooting guy going for sniper, love-taps, ect.)
Also, you may wonder why somebody does what they do in game.
In matchmaking never unless I’m in party chat with friends. If I’m alone whole lobby is muted. My days of talking to general public on xbox live ended years ago lol
I totally understand not wanting to, I just hope to find more people that use it. There are some ‘tools’ playing halo I know that, not this guy though lol
I use my headset in my party chat thank you. I might consider using it out of party chat when the fix the random disconnects being party chat is easier to know if something happens during loading. So until this is fixed and backing out doesn’t spit your party I’ll stay in party chats.
I hear you, I’m not hating on party chat or anything (would be nice if we could see if someone is party chat in MCC) it’s almost a necessity right now, but when things are fixed maybe?
I would love it if more people start using headsets. I expect when this is fixed and we can play ranked playlists people will use them more…at least at high levels. It’s lame that people don’t talk to each other on Halo anymore - I mean there isn’t even any trash talking!!!
