Saw a fellow Spartan say that previous season items for store should be available to anyone who purchased that seasons bp.
I’ll be honest, that’s very harmful. If forces players to buy a battle pass they may or may not want in order to get access to a set of gear from that season. Why paywall a paywall?
Instead all armor from a season past should go to an archive section allowing us to buy it from there either in bundle or individual form.
This should also be done from the inventory screen as well for individual purchase.
Replace the rotating storefront with all previous PURCHASE EXCLUSIVE items from all fractures and events if eligible.
This model is just as friendly to 343 as it is to us, and is easily explained as such:
343 and players have 3 avenues of purchase. Armory (Individual) REQS (Bundles of armor/etc) and Storefront (F/E rotation)
Reduction of FOMO (still exists for the rotational as you don’t know when it comes back around)
Full inclusivity.
343 promised us variety and true individuality. This can be really hard to achieve if you’re a new or returning player with little time. Now this may not bother anyone but it’s a nice feature for these player especially if they don’t mind spending a few hundred credits for at least a flashy helmet or effect!
Aside from earning credits, giving us the right to buy/earn materials, patterns, and color pallets for custom coatings; this honestly could be the most fair approach to storefront.
