So what prompted me to write this was both the fact that I got a dmr skin despite still not having the dmr, and also that I started playing hearthstone a bit again, which made me wonder if a crafting system like dust in hearthstone would work. For those who don’t know, you are able to “craft” cards using dust, however the catch is that the cost is much more than the face value of the card, which means you would only do it if there is a specific card you require. Could a similar system work in halo 5? rather than paying 5000 points over and over again for a card that I am not guaranteed to get until I unlock every other common, uncommon and rare I could pay a larger amount (like, I don’t know mabye, 2000 points per specific common card or 10000 for a certification, with increasing cost for rarity). This would obviously not be something you do very often, because you lose out on several packs worth req cards, but for someone who has been wanting a dmr since I picked one up of the floor in my first warzone game, getting the skin and not the actual weapon is kind of annoying. Plus it would also allow req’s not really seen very often (e.g. Phaeton) to mabye come into more use, if people could craft them? Would this work, or am I just dumb?
like the idea but i think it should only be used for loadout weapons
Yeah, that might be a better idea, however it just it feels like there are some certifications a casual player will never get unless very lucky, if it was possible to unlock certifications I would at least know how many req points I needed, I would have an achievable goal to work for.
good in theory, but Microsoft doesn’t make as much money in this scenario.
