Cool transmission, bro.
I can’t even try to understand what was just said.
But I’m pretty sure it’s important.
This is suspicious.

From what I understood, it’s something about Precursors near Installation 07.
Installation 07 is the setting of Primordium, so ask someone who’s read the book. I’m still on Cryptum.
This made me nostalgia.

Based on the numeric values, it’s easy to assume 117649 is the designation assigned to the Monitor of Installation 07. I assume this is therefore a warning sent by 117649 out to the Array, of which Abject Testament (Monitor 049) received. Is this an ARG, or just having some fun? And only one race has ever been recorded to reach this theoretical ceiling (Tier 0) The Precursors. Installation 07 is a graveyard, filled with ten deactivated Graveminds, and a slew of Forerunners assimilated by the Flood.
I think Halo 4 marketing has begun.

It’s just someone having fun

Either that or the best troll ever.

The Monitor of Installation 07 is 05-302 Mendicant Bias, which he stole from the Forerunners.
I’m also hoping it’s an ARG, but it’s most likely for fun or to tease us.
Uh, just googled 117649; I think it’s Fan-Fic.

Look at this.…Yoink it.
Wait, what is this? I haven’t heard this before. When/where was it released?
> I think Halo 4 marketing has begun.
hell yeah! Halo 4 im ready and able for this viral campaign
Reminds me so much of the Superintendent stunt Bungie pulled on their forums for the Halo 3: ODST release.
By the looks of it though, this is just a user having a bit of fun considering he only joined today.

Not the best troll ever. I’m easily not a believer and even if it is true I don’t care because ARG’s are annoying. I’m pretty sure Frankie said they would try to stay away from such things for marketing because they are old news.

Um, no. Mendicant Bias was a highly advanced ancilla, not built to be a lowly monitor of a single Installation, he was given control over the entire Array. Halo CE Anniversary has terminals that reveal SEVEN monitors, all clearly responsible for a specific Installation. And based on numeric values, beginning with 049, 343 and finally 2401, we can skip ahead and clarify that 117649 is the logical identity of Installation 07’s Monitor.
