URGENT: Anniversary jump height is bugged

The gametype settings are as such:

Movement 120
Shield Recharge 110
Melee 50

Those are the only changes however the gravity is 125 despite what the settings say.

Jump height being the default 100 has the player jumping lower than default settings because of the increased gravity which is completely backwards.

Please address this ASAP!

125% jump is ideal but at this point 110 is better than the current settings.

Agreed 100%. Fix it, 343!

Jumping half a foot in the air isn’t classic at all.

I knew I was getting too little air time…

I wonder if this is a parsing error like when Bungie first added the MLG playlist? The gametype settings do not reflect the actual in-game behavior, correct?

Although in reality, Halo 1 had a lower jump height.

Yea, no.

Playing the first level in HCEA I was surprised by how high Mater Chief jumps when I tried to get over the pipe.

If I were to do it in the Anniversary playlist I would not clear that jump.

I noticed the rather shallow jump height yesterday when trying out the Anniversary gametype too.

I figured something was wrong but didn’t have time to investigate. I’m glad my old mind wasn’t “seeing things”.

Guess what? You aren’t Master Chief, are you?

Indeed, it feels like half the jump height of the old splitscreen MP. Fix please.

> Guess what? You aren’t Master Chief, are you?

How is that relevant in any degree?

It doesn’t matter what character you are b/c its multiplayer.

When story fiction affects the gameplay in a negative way then you have a huge problem on your hands.

Yeah, after switching between campaign and multiplayer I felt like I needed a bit of extra jump height.

125% jump is more like Halo 2 and 3 though. I think 110 jump should be a good starting point. I’d much rather have a CE gametype with Magnum starts/110 jump AND a Halo 2/3 gametype with DMR starts/125 jump. Feels too weird playing CE on Halo 2 maps like Headlong and Beaver Creek.

Certainly agree upon the fact that the jump height is wrong.

I messaged a mod and was told that it was by design.

IDK what game they have been playing but it wasn’t Halo.
