Step 2: Put Halo Reach into Xbox One and automatically download Halo: Reach to console.

Step 3: Play.

There is no ‘360’ account. If you play Xbox and are connected to the internet, it will be fine. Once the game is installed, you can play Reach offline.

To answer your question without a smart-yoink- remark, no you do not need an Xbox 360. Halo Reach is one of the games that has been made Backwards Compatible. If your Xbox One is connected to the Internet and simply put the Halo Reach disk in the system. It will have you download/install the game and then you can play it. But if you are disconnected from the internet or try playing offline, it won’t let you play…even with the disk.
