Hi, I’ve being playing Halo MCC since it launch and recently started hunting the under 3 hour achievements, I did some calculations, if every level was achieved Part Time, not over not under on all of the Halo’s in MCC & i got the count from TA
(as of 28/01/2015) (as of 29/01/2015)
Goat Roped (Halo CE) 489/58,190 / 494/58,348
Monopolized (Halo 2) 208/58,190 / 209/58,348
Devastating (Halo 3) 767/58,190 / 777/58,348
Your Joking (Halo 4) 749/58,190 / 749/58,348
then I worked these (if all were part time)
Halo CE - 2:55:00 (+5 minutes allowed)
Halo 2 - 3:30:00 (-30 minutes not allowed)
Halo 3 - 2:50:00 (+10 minutes allowed) “possible”
Halo 4 - 2:40:00 (+20 minutes allowed) “possible”
343 you need to increase the possibility of the 3 hour achievements, by increasing Halo CE (Since we have yet to have Halo) & Halo 2 to under 6 hour’s be more fair on the community, cause if it’s getting this way, then Halo will lose fan’s and it’s already starting to happen since Halo 5 Beta was allot like Call of Duty, giving us free stuff is great but making the game more community friendly is the key to success
I’ve practice more that you know, i was on Halo CE on the Xbox nearly everyday and updating them 6 hour’s doesn’t make it easier and even if it was 5 hours or even 4 and half, then that’s better, these achievement got named after world record hold’s I’ve never heard of and last time i check the world record book, non of there name’s were in there so unofficial, until there names appear in the book
to the Naked Eli video’s I’ve watched them repeated time’s only a few of his worked, I found better guide’s that were done not by him and they helped a little more, than his
please keep mind from 29/01/2015, i most likely will stop looking hear due to the fact Dying Light (#ZombiesWin2015) is out and i more looking forward to that than Call of Halo, i mean Halo 5
every Halo has difficult achievement’s be these are a complete Joke, if I have a choice between Halo Under 3 Hour Achievements that are not possible on some Halo’s or Vidmaster’s of Halo 3, Halo ODST and Spartan Assault, I’d rather chose them

Legendary Under 3 hours is very much possible on every Halo.
Also, try checking out youtube guides. It seems like it took you an hour and 14 minutes to do uprising, it’s been run in about 3 minutes and even someone who isn’t great at speedrunning like me managed to pull it off in 5 minutes ish.

I haven’t gone for them yet but from what I hear they are not that hard just YouTube some of the speed runners tricks and should be fine. For example in Halo CE Assault on the Control Room you can jump off the first bridge despawn all the enemies and save probably 10 mins off your time.
Also the achievement doesn’t have to be done in a single play through it just adds your best times from each level. So say you don’t get a flawless run in a single level you can just redo that particular level not the entire game itself.
Another pro tip if you ever die you can just select save and quit then resume from the main menu and your level timer will be the same as when you first hit the checkpoint
I have done halo CE and halo 3 in under 3 hours on legendary. It is do able…I’m also running h2 solo legendary in under 3 hours as well…
These are the only hard achievements (that you cant glitch) in halo MCC… LASO is hard but there is no time limit and you can glitch it and skip the whole thing.
MCC needs difficult achievements or what is there to work for??
If you’re having trouble I can help you get under par time in most of the missions and I can run you a few missions in h2 in less than half the par time, all you need to do is hide so you dont die and we get reverted. Or just watch me on twitch and go the routes I go. FilthyScholar

I’ve done LASO they were hard but not horrible achievement’s, game’s do need difficult achievements but one’s that ruin the gameplay experience and make you wanna remove the game from your tray and snap it in two, is not a good thing, when you’ve played them since the original xbox and were your very first game you played

It’s not a matter of if they work or not. It all comes down to practice. The tricks and glitches work. You can see in the videos.

a few of the glitch trick’s don’t work for me, I’ve tried them, the grenade trick on truth & recon, worked on 360 nearly every-time, on ONE every time i go to toss the grenades, it delay’s on my toss, i tap the button twice so if toss them but it delays and only toss one, however the key’s one worked like a charm

Was this on solo or co-op? Because I’ve never heard of any input lag on solo. For what it’s worth, the trick worked flawlessly for me.
The achievements themselves were named after some of the big names in Halo speedrunning, put in because of the work they did to find new ways of playing Halo and bringing that to community. Sure they’re damn hard achievements to get, but this is over 10 years of speedrunning. I say leave the times as they are. Keep trying for it OP, never know you might end up beating the world records one day
