Just wanted to play a little halo 5 before bed cause I got to go to work early tomorrow. Start it up and I see a notice. “Halo 5 needs a update.” Great. I then look at the size of the update. 5.4 GIGS!!! Ok I knew the update was coming but why so FREAKING BIG? It literally took me 2 hours to download it. I know updates are needed but, why can’t “they” piece them out to like mb or even kb to make them load faster. Just saying.

For the quality, I think it is worth it!!
Took me 2 hours to downloads as well. I dunno what makes them so big.
you need 25mb internet and you would download updates in 30 minutes or so and a 2-3 TB external hard drive bro!
Most of the junk we get are more REQ, Armor, Custom Forge maps. Never much on updates or fixes. No wonder the “updates” are large.
Sure its big but its worth it. I enjoy Grifball a lot!

Here’s what I do I play a different game on the day of release and then the update is ready the next day

It’s worth it however. The only update i look forward to having to deal with is, The update where you could actually do stuff offline and not be bothered by messages and stuff popping in on you every 5 minutes. The update that allows you to do more than just solo campaign if internet goes out or 343 messes up on there end. The update that when firefight comes out you could actually just play against eh computer if you wish. That update my friends is the only one i look forward to. Every update before that is just a waste of hard drive space and time.

Go read the patch notes and see how wrong you are
There are more fixes than you claim. However I can see why you would make this post because the one thing YOU want fixed didn’t get fixed so you come here saying 343 “never does nuthin”
I have Australian internet and it downloaded in 20 min.
Took me about an hour. Decided to stream netflix while it downloaded 
I recommend you to have backgrounds download on, that way most games will automatically update as soon as a update is released.
15 minutes for me but hey could be worse could be like it used to be and you couldn’t do anything else while you waited
Really? Mine took somewhere from 30-40 minutes. I just played some BO3 to pass the time.
Only took 10 minutes for me.
If you know an update is coming maybe start halo up as early as possible then leave it running in the background. Not always possible i know.
Took like 10 mins for me, but that’s college Internet. At home it would probably take close to an hour.
