Updates I'd still like to see

Global:

  • An overhaul to the Mission / Map / Gametype select menus with a legacy inspired, vertically oriented layout that would better facilitate user generated content.

  • Global UI that can natively support external user generated content such as mods through Steam Workshop, without having to replace existing files.
  • Golden Moa collectibles added to remaining Campaigns, as was suggested in the last blog.
  • Crossplay support for remaining Campaigns, it was a great surprise to see this enabled for H3 & ODST, and would be amazing to see this applied to other Campaigns and SpOps.
  • Splitscreen support on PC, a niche feature that would also be much appreciated.

Halo Reach:

  • Fixes to color grading and resolution / framerate related visual bugs, light bloom, water and shield door effects, etc. (‘why’ has done a good video showcasing these discrepancies:

  • Alter customisation models to better reflect their in-game appearance:
    (Mark V [b] brim, Assault/ Commando rear pouch, etc.]
  • Starting vehicle option for Firefight, allowing use of different vehicles on maps that support them.
    (Guass Hog, Revenant, Scorpion, Banshee, Falcon, etc.)
  • AI Ally support on remaining Firefight missions, similar to the ODSTs on Installation 04.
  • Drones selectable in Firefight wave options.
  • New skulls added on par with other titles, Bandanna, Acrophobia, etc.
  • Some more items to Forge palette, Traxus van, Cab without trailer, Cab with tanker, UNSC Truck, etc.

Halo CE: Anniversary:

  • Acrophobia Skull

Halo 2: Anniversary:

  • Native support for Halo 2: Vista maps.
  • Cross port content from Halo 4 to Halo 2: Anniversary Forge, the Broadsword, Pelican, etc.
  • If possible, port Pitfall and Ragnarok as H3 remakes to fill out the map roster.

Halo 3:

  • Cross port content from ODST to Halo 3 Forge, Oliphant, Stationary Turrets, NMPD Pelican, etc.
  • If possible, port some more maps from Halo: Online such as Reactor and Skybridge (Diamondback doesn’t matter as much given it’s just a palette swap of Avalanche)

ODST:

  • H3 Magnum and SMG in starting weapon options.

Halo 4:

  • New skulls added on par with other titles, Bandanna, Acrophobia, etc.
  • Cross port content from Halo 2: Anniversary to Halo 4 Forge, the Hornet, Gungoose, etc.
  • Allow us to spawn the cut ‘Revenant’ in Forge or Customs, similar to the H2 Mongoose.
  • Missing Tactical Packages / Support Upgrades reimplemented, excluding Fastrack given MCC’s progression system.
