I posted a few days ago about maybe keeping the community updated more regularly such as hourly or every other hour. The vast majority totally agreed that it would help calm down the hate.
seems 343 haven’t taken this advice and we are just more in the dark with the state of the game. Yes we can get games but that’s just a tiny fraction of the problem. Campaign saves disappearing, locked achievements, online co-op the list goes on.
it seems literally every part of this game isn’t working 100% as it’s supposed to. Is this due to a lack of testing? Were they pressured to meet the deadline and testing and QA went out the window?
343’s silence on ALL these matters seems to imply something has gone very wrong, they are acknowledging matchmaking issues but I’ve had no real depth of explanation of the rest of the problems with the game.
for now I’m not bothering with the MCC until it’s fixed 100% and I don’t just mean getting games I mean EVERYTHING working, I don’t want to battle through campaign on legendary only to not get the achievements and lose my hard earned progress. I was so excited for this game as were all my friends… Not one of them now have a good thing to say about this and I’ve defended the game to the point of madness and I no longer find myself able to do so with 343’s silence.
im certainly not selling the game as I love halo but for me this is in a worse state than BF4 and that’s saying something, look at the loss of trust in the series from that debacle… I worry the same will happen with halo and 343 and by all the hate on the forums I’m thinking it’s definitely done more harm than good

Yes and yes.
I agree. I also made a post asking for more clarity in regards to the issues. I think it would do a lot to calm the forums and the lack off anything only makes everyone wonder how bad the situation is.
I would assume they had a lot of pressure and a deadline (anniversary). And I severely doubt they’re going to make a post and let everyone know they can blame whoever they report to, as that would end badly for them.
Obviously not excusing any of the crap, just saying don’t expect a statement. Just expect the game to get better and eventually be out of the beta phase.

He is, but he only seems to be in reply mode for some time. And they should be posting in the forums , they made a page to update so I do not understand why people should have to hunt down twitter accounts for random team members.

Thats the one most often updated I think? It would be nice to have them more often but I really don’t know what else they can tell us besides “thanks for your patience, we are working around the clock to resolve issues”
