Since the game has come out 343 has rolled out some content updates to attempt to fix the game. Many of my friends have gotten the updates while I and two others that I know of haven’t been prompted to update a single time. And yes I’ve check background updates and they haven’t happened. Are the severs that bad to where not everyone can even get a content update. I can’t even play campaign playlists with friends let alone even find a game with friends. This game so far has been a very poor investment on my part with all the issues and bugs that I continue to face.

Try doing a hard reset of your console. Hold the power button in for 8 to 10 seconds until is switches off, wait 10 secs, turn it back on and try loading up the game.

This happened to me too for both recent updates, and no hard resetting did not prompt for the download either. Unfortunately, if you want to know the only solution, its what myself and many others had to do. Uninstall and reinstall the whole damn game. It is the only way to ensure you get the updates. I’ve now had to do this twice.
