I was playing the original HW2 campaign this morning and noticed it hasn’t been affected by the updates that affect the multiplayer. This has me wondering why the updates don’t cross over to the campaign. Are there complications that don’t allow for such a thing? I think, in my opinion, that it would be an interesting way to give the campaign a higher replay value.
I think it was said a while back by one of the devs that the updates were kept to multiplayer only. That putting them in campaign would affect it too severely.
The campaign and multiplayer have separate files, that’s the primary reason they don’t cross over with updates.

I was playing the last mission of ATN and some weird stuff related to this was happening, when I spawned Elite Rangers out of the raid camp they were the old -Yoink!- ones but when I spawned them out of the lich vanguard they were the new ones with the right health and even 3 squad members also when i did get them out of the lich they updated the -Yoink!- ones to the 3 member squad.
